have a look at round 6, I just realised on another thread that your forward line is going to clash with the round 6 bye. ie Chapman, Franklin, Mzungu and Michie are all out. I like the idea of Jack in the midfield, hope the kid takes over now the old bloke is gone
Hi Dreamteamers, I have never really played Dream Team seriously but am going to get into it this year. I always find it hard to trade a rookie into a premium as the prices don't seem to go up as much as in Supercoach. Is Guns'N'Rookies the best strategy or do you need a different mix Help will be appreciated
I'm going with guns and rookies with the exception of Petrie. I aim to make 100k minimum from each cash cow - meaning I may have to trade two rookies for each upgrade to a premium. Last year I kept 500k in the bank to help with this, but not this year. Hopefully a couple of rookies can become keepers (hopefully Krakouer, Gaff or Harris) and if I double trade for premiums say 8 times (16 trades) then I have 8 trades left to cover injuries and finals. The extended bench this year should also help cover short-term injuries and thus save trades. If you have more than 8 or so rookies to upgrade I beleive you will struggle. I also like to start with premium rucks so I don't have to waste trades there.
And after much tinkering this is most likely my run-on team for Round 1 Bcks - Goddard,Deledio,Malceski, Grimes,Russell,Otten,Puopolo Mids - Swan,Montagna,Bartel, Jack,Heppell,Mzungu Rucks - Ryder,Cox Fwds - Chapman,Franklin,Sylvia,N Riewoldt, Dangerfield,Veszpremi,Richardson Your thoughts appreciated.
