N Roo vs Pies

Hi,

Last minute question:

N Roo vs Pies or I Smith vs Port?

Should I drop Roo? Is Smith a sub risk?

Personally N.Roo, my reasoning below;

1. Nathan Brown AND Ben Reid can't double team him like they did in the Grand Finals, Reid will probably take him, maybe Tarrant but i can't see them double teaming him again.

2. Heath Shaw can no long smother his kicks for goal on the goal-line.

NRoo is safe route. Can't beat the class.

Only scored 86 last time with no Brown...

 

Do you take the risk with Smith or play it safe and cancel out your opponent's score with Roo. I'm going option 2.

 

I put N.Roo on the bench and have Mzunga on the field. N.Roo's over all form has been poor.

 

Mzungu is a better choice than Isaac Smith, so i think you may be alright with that Thunda.

 

I ended up taking the I Smith gamble. Here's hoping he can better 73 v Port

I left Roo in the end. We'll see how it shapes up. He has been very disappointing. If it wasn't for Shaw being suspended, the axe was over his head weeks ago.

happy it worked out for you.
I went wrong with Hepp v Puopolo and most likely NRoo v Sylvia after his 73.

Is seems so easy looking back, Hawks were always going to win easily thus meaning more points and NRoo was probably going to be in a losing side and getting double teamed. Hard to overlook his class though and just look at his stats this year... i actually benched him a few weeks back when he got 120 odd so i couldn't do it again.

The bench players/backups are really stepping up in Smith, Mzungu and Puopolo!

 

At the end of the day the risk here was that I Smith could have been the sub and that would have cost coaches their league game!
