Here we are, two weeks in and we've managed a first look at every team.

Anyone catching your eye so far? Who have you brought in base on this weeks perform? Who should you?

Let's take a look at what's gone down this week.

    Friday, 22th February

    North vs Melbourne

    Results: North by 2.

North had more of the ball, more kicks, more clearances and more contested possessions- and in the end, more points on the board winning by 2 point, by virtue of a Supergoal.

What we did see though, we North sharing the ball around a lot, which we all know is a goldmine for fantasy sports if they keep it up.

McMahon, SD Thompson, Swallow, Wright, ATLEY and JACOBS all benefitted massively from this, with McMahon breaking 60DT points.

Wright certainly added to his selection credentials under this gameplan, priced at a smidge under $400k, he's steadily increased his average over the past few years and could definitely step up.

The other obvious premium we're looking at here is Swallow. 12 disposals, 4 tackles and 50DT has him once again pushing for selection in my squad.

Sierakowski looks to be teasing again, a 115k defender would be fantastic, and with 9 touches and 42DT, would certainly make some cash- but will he make it into the Roo's best 22? Gunna be tough.

Now, I can't believe I got this far into the article without mentioning Majak DAW. Surely you have to select him, just so you can enjoy watching what he does. He's big, strong, fast and occationally completely vacant/brilliant. It's like a rollercoaster of awesome, and priced at $115k, 3 touches, 4 hitouts and 24DT will have me jumping on board.

But where Dawes did well, Goldstein was a massive worry. We know he scores from his hitouts, and 5 hitouts was alright, but no touches for the entire match- not a great sign.

Over on Melbournes side, I'm thinking there were a couple of rookies worth looking into- Kent was a revelation, priced at $109k, he managed 6 touches, kicking 1.1 and 39DT. Definitely one to watch.

Viney looked alright, picking up 5 touches and 16DT- while Byrnes managed 15DT though 7 touches, but did butcher his disposal a little.

    Hero's: McMahon, Swallow, Wright

    Villians: Goldstein

    Players to watch: Dawes, Kent

    Melbourne vs Richmond

    Results: Richmond by 15.

It was pretty much 1 way traffic for the Tigers after Riewoldt slotted the first goal 4 minutes into the game, and had Richmond not been so inaccurate in front of goal, really could have blown out to a massive margin.

Deledio and MARTIN were both very good throught the middle, Deledio picking up 12 touches and 41DT while MARTIN collected 11 disposals of his own, and 36DT.

It's Petterd who is raised as an interesting option. Priced at $240k, as a forward, he could certainly provide some value if he can get a regular spot in the squad. With 8 touches, at 100% disposal efficiency, and with a history of decent scoring, could provide some interest.

Richmond's first round pick, Nick Vlastuin did a fine job in his debut, with 6 touches at 100DE he could certainly provide value in the backline. I'm thinking he'll play much the same role as CONCA did in his first year, so a 50-60 average would be expected.

Over on Melbournes side, Jack Watts impressed, with 8 touches, a goal and 43DT points. Toumpas was also very good, picking up 8 touches and 41DT, however, he does come with a premium costing $184k in the midfield.

Viney once again did a decent job, with 5 touches, and should still be a lock, but we'll need to keep an eye on him.

    Hero's: Deledio, Petterd

    Villians:

Players to watch: Petterd, Vlastuin, Viney

    Richmond vs North

    Results: North by 4.

A fantastic and funny old game which had the Tigers leading for the vast majority, only not at either of the breaks. Which obviously works very well for the Kangeroos.

Swallow once again led from the front with another 12 touch performance and 48DT. Would definitely be one of the front runners in the comp thus far.

Majak DAW was again, dare I say it, Majak, with 6 touches, 2 hitouts and 33DT. Definitely pressing for early selection, however Daniel Currie will be up in contention. Absolutely dominated the ruck with 12 hitouts and 4 touches for 32DT.

Amusingly, Sierakowski and Wright both undid their good work from game 1, with the former picking up 2 touches and 7DT- while Wright didn't manage a touch in 85% gametime.

White top scored for the Tigers, with 7 disposals, 2 tackles and 37DT points. Could have been more, but for his 2 behinds.

Ellis and Riewoldt both scored 36DT with 9 and 8 disposals respectively, while Vlastuin impressed again with 9 touches of his own and 24DT points. A fantastic debut effort to the young Tiger and has certainly thrust himself up a lot of watchlists.

    Hero's: Swallow, DAW

    Villians:

    Players to watch: DAW, Vlastuin

    Gold Coast vs Hawthorn

    Results: Gold Coast by 1.

Well, the Suns did it, holding out in an absolute nailbiter against the Hawks, one which might see Franklin sweating it out with a little head-high contact on Shaw. Shouldn't be anything in it, but you never know.

Ablett did what Ablett does. He got an absolute ton of the ball, and with 12 touches, half of them contested, should be strongly considered in all forms of the fantasy game.

Harley BENNELL picked up his awesome form of last year, with 7 touches, 2 goals and behind for 40DT points. However, as only a MID this year, and the fact that when he was tagged last year, he was really taken out of the game, he does come with risk. With Ablett and SWALLOW there in front of him, I reckon he'll avoid them for a while.

Rory THOMPSON was very good in defence, keeping Franklin well restricted, while picking up 7 touches of his own and 38DT points.

Broughton went missing a bit, but still managed 8 touches over the game and 26DT points, so definitely keep him on your radar, while O'Meara is surely locked into everyone's team with 7 touches from just 70% TOG.

Suckling got an absolute ton of the ball, collecting 13 touches in just 67% gametime and Cyril Rioli did some good work with 8 touches of his own, including 3 inside 50's for 32DT.

While their midfield was a little undermanned, Hill stood tall, with 6 touches and 28DT points. Could be worth a sneaky nibble priced at $152k.

The villian of the match though has to go to Lance Franklin, as mentioned earlier- he was simply well held with just 5 disposals and 10DT.

    Hero's: Ablett, BENNELL

    Villians: Franklin

    Players to watch: O'Meara

    Brisbane vs Hawthorn

    Results: Brisbane by 21.

It's been a pretty dark day up north for the Hawks, getting well smashed by the Lions. Leading the charge for the Lions was their midfield, Rich, Moloney and Rockliff were all very good

Moloney, priced at $362k picked up 11 touches and 42DT points from just 64% TOG will provide a tantilising mid-priced option, while Rockliff and his 9 touch 39DT will find himself locked into most squads forward in 2013.

Zorko did some nice things with just 4 touches, but 2 goals and 31DT in what equates to a quarter of play, while new recruit Stefen Martin looked good with 7 touches and 27DT. Buyer beware though, despite his delicious R/F positioning, Leuenberger was missing and will certainly push Martin back in the ranks.

Paparone at $114k looked alright though, 5 touches and 24DT in 46% TOG will see him on a few watchlists I reckon.

Popular defender, Sam Docherty played 80% of the game, but worryingly managed just 4 touches and 14DT. Still- if he's getting games, he should be worth a spot on your bench thus far.

Over on the Hawks side, it was pretty ugly. SIMPKIN, LANGFORD and Hill are all cheap options, and all performed very nicely, but we do know that teams like to mix things up in the pre-season, so I personally wouldn't read too much into them.

    Hero's: Rich, Moloney, Rockliff

    Villians:

    Players to watch: Paparone

    Gold Coast vs Brisbane

    Results: Brisbane by 33.

In the final game up for the night, it really was a great start for the Suns, kicking the first 2 goals of the game. Went down hill fast though as the Lions put on 8 unanswered goals and simply stormed away with the win.

Rockliff was once again magnificent with 13 touches and 40DT and surely if you've read this far you've got him locked into your squad.

Martin once again put in a good performance with 7 touches and 38DT, which will put him on a lot of radars- but as mentioned earlier, buyer beware. He was very good in 2011, but simply couldn't get a game at the Dee's through the first half of last year.

Moloney did enough with 6 touches and 28DT in 65% of game time, while Docherty once again disappointed with just 3 touches this game. The only saving grace was the 59% TOG, but still needs to be watched.

Considering Ablett was missing, it's not too suprising that the Suns were smashed, but it did leave room for a couple of Suns to step up.

Pick 13, Jesse Lonergan looked AFL ready and did pretty well with 8 touches and 28DT. Could have been a lot better had he converted his 2 behinds, but hey- it does keep him a little lower on others radars, while O'Meara certainly did enough with 6 touches and 19DT.

    Hero's: GOLBY, Rockliff, Lonergan

    GWS vs Carlton

    Results: Carlton by 2.

Another game where accuracy nearly costed a team the win, with Carlton kicking 4 goals 10 to 4 goals 2, falling over the line by just 2 points.

Top scoring for the Blues was R/F Rookie priced option, Sam Rowe, who if you remember, after being drafted as a mature ages prospect, missed most of last year with testicular cancer. A real tough break for the fella, but his return couldn't have been better. 5 touches, 2 goals and 44DT points and some form that might just press for selection.

Gibbs was solid, with 9 touches and 36DT off 74% TOG, while McLean, Robinson and Murphy all did there bit.

For the Giants, Miles was absolutely massive, picking up 14 touches, 6 tackles and 70DT points in just 69% TOG will see him rise up a few watchlists, while Treloar managed 14 touches himself but just 45DT.

No. 1 draft pick, Lachie Whitfield looked good, with 7 touches for 32DT, though his disposal efficiency might hurt him a littl ebit.

    Hero's: Rowe, Miles

    Villians:

    Players to watch: Rowe, Whitfield

    Sydney vs Carlton

    Results: Carlton by 22.

With Carlton putting on the first 5 goals, it really brought to mind the old tales of Sydney not caring too much about the pre-season, so we'll take their game with a grain of salt.

Tough to take much away from Carlton though, they played great, smashing the contested possession and clearance counts. McLean, Murphy and Gibbs were all very prolific through the middle, with McLean doing work at both ends of the ground.

Rowe wasn't quite as strong as last game, with just 3 touches and a behind for 16DT, but he's certainly kept himself in contention.

McVeigh had a big game, with 14 disposals and 63DT, while O'Keefe was great with 13 touches and Kieren Jack managing 12 of his own, including 5 inside 50's.

Just quietly, I might or might not have Jack in my current lineup, and I do like the idea of him staying unique, so, shhhhh.

PARKER, looks a decent mid-priced option, but would need to do more than 5 touches to earn a spot on my list thus far.

    Hero's: McVeigh, O'Keefe, Jack, McLean

    Villians:

    Players to watch:

    GWS vs Sydney

    Results: GWS by 24.

The final lightining game, and perhaps a statement on the format, perhaps team interest, saw last years wooden spooners put last years grand finalists to the sword.

Greene top scored for the Giants with 15 touches and 66DT, while Smith and Wilson both saw a lot of the pill with 11 touches each.

Sadly from a fantasy viewpoint, Whitfield sat out, and with him, the vast majority of Giants options (With most of them pricing themselves out of the market after solid performances last year).

Sydney however, had a couple of fantasy prospects stand up, with Towers racking up 9 touches and 37DT, while rookie Dane Rampe did nicely with 6 touches and 26DT.

PARKER stood up to the challenge set last game to score 11 touches and 26DT, to go right back into consideration as a mid-priced Midfield option.

    Hero's: Grundy, Greene, Towers

    Villians:

    Players to watch: PARKER, Towers|SYD

And that's it, the first round out of the way.

Now, we all know, that the lightining round is probably the worst of the NAB to read deeply into, but it's still great to see who's looking fit and who isn't (Hi Goldstein !)
