Matchup 6 saw a couple of the regular blowouts, but not many close games, with only 3 games decided by less than 100 points - and only one of them by less than 70 - between Dan and Danny10, in probably the match of the round. Matchup 6 also saw the unbeaten run of Jasmine come to an end! With Owen, now, our only undefeated player. Fudge pulled through for his first win, which leaves Fzilla and Elbonz the only ones yet to get a W!

In the NBA, Boston and San Antonio lead their respective conferences. Apart from them, Miami, New York and Dallas are the form teams - the latter winning their last 12 games; and the other two, both winning 9 of their last 10. Durant (27.4 ppg), Love (15.6 rpg) and Rondo (13.7 apg) are still on top of the three main stats categories. Paul has an astonishing 3.18 steals pg to lead the league; and aussie Andrew Bogut leads the league in blocks with 2.94 pg. On the negative side of things - Westbrook is still leading the way with 4.2 TOs pg, and DeMarcus Cousins leads the league with 4.2 fouls pg.

We have a new holder of the Fewest Points in a round trophy, with Elbonz taking out the first 5 titles, Fzillas Pikus United has joined the ranks scoring 461 this week. It doesnt look as though Fzilla has been around since matchup 2, as he has only been using a max of 10 players every week since then. Not sure whats going on with him, but that makes 2 absent coaches at the moment with Elbonz still missing as well.

On a brighter note - Owen is our first winner of the Dirk Diggler award as he is the only undefeated team remaining! Starting the season with a 6 game winning streak so far! Well done Owen! :D

Now over the break will be the matchup 6 game reviews, and the previews for matchup 7  ::::::::::::::<!--more-->

    Matchup 6 Reviews:

    <a title="Fudges Sixers (Jim Tsilikas)" href="http://games.espn.go.com/fba/clubhouse?leagueId=23530&amp;teamId=16&amp;seasonId=2011" target="_top">Fudge’s Sixers 1208 v <a title="Team Stowie (Daniel Stow)" href="http://games.espn.go.com/fba/clubhouse?leagueId=23530&amp;teamId=8&amp;seasonId=2011" target="_top">Team Stowie 1130

Yay!!  We can welcome another member to the winners column! Fudge has finally broken through for that elusive W he has been chasing! Fudge got of to a great start winning the first 3 days, but then had to deal with a spirited comeback which saw Stowie hit the front with 2 days remaining; Fudge answered by outscoring him over those last 2 days 346 - 190 to win by 78 points. Fudge had 6 players score over 100 with Wilson Chandler his best with 176; while Stowie had 5 over 100 with Josh Smith again his best with 232.

    <a title="Wade Machine (Daniel Laengst)" href="http://games.espn.go.com/fba/clubhouse?leagueId=23530&amp;teamId=15&amp;seasonId=2011" target="_top">Wade Machine 1189 v <a title="Dannys Lebronts (Danny Smith)" href="http://games.espn.go.com/fba/clubhouse?leagueId=23530&amp;teamId=18&amp;seasonId=2011" target="_top">Dannys Lebronts 1229

Probably the match of the round. Definitely the closest battle! Dan, while carrying a few injuries, really took it up to Danny10, with the game still undecided deep into the final day. Despite the best efforts of Westbrook with a DD and 60 fpts, Dan was outscored by 63 points on the final day to be overtaken and lose by only 38. Both teams had 5 players score at least 95, but it was the two Miami players that stole the show with their teams names and highest scores - the one from Dannys Lebronts scoring 221, and the one from Wade Machine scoring 230.

    <a title="Ruddys Cavaliers (Peter Rudd)" href="http://games.espn.go.com/fba/clubhouse?leagueId=23530&amp;teamId=14&amp;seasonId=2011" target="_top">Ruddy’s Cavaliers 1107 v <a title="Run TMC (Owen Beebe)" href="http://games.espn.go.com/fba/clubhouse?leagueId=23530&amp;teamId=19&amp;seasonId=2011" target="_top">Run TMC 1302

Owen has posted the highest score in the league for the 2nd week in a row, being the only team to top 1300, which was easily enough to account for Ruddys more than respectable performance of 1107 points. Run TMC is now the only undefeated team and is the inaugural winner of the Dirk Diggler award for having the longest ... winning streak. Ruddys top scorer was Nash with 127, whereas Owen had 3 players score more than that in Rondo (156), Jefferson (163) and Blake Griffen leading the way with 191. Owen had another 4 players top the ton, while Ruddy only had 3 players joining Nash above the same milestone.

    <a title="Stevos Nuggets (Stephen Nilsson)" href="http://games.espn.go.com/fba/clubhouse?leagueId=23530&amp;teamId=12&amp;seasonId=2011" target="_top">Stevo’s Nuggets 906 v <a title="Doobia Dominators (Andrew Dubowik)" href="http://games.espn.go.com/fba/clubhouse?leagueId=23530&amp;teamId=20&amp;seasonId=2011" target="_top">Doobia Dominators 1053

Theres another warning sound sent out by Doobs! In his first real test since being actively involved, he has easily accounted for Steves highly rated Nuggets! Well I say highly rated - mainly because everyone seems to want his players. Steve continues to churn through them, calling on the services of another 18 during this matchup. He is easily leading the league with the most trades, and only 3 players that he drafted are currently on his roster - George Hill, Ersan Ilyasova and Shannon Brown - with his top 6 picks all gone! Anyway, the unsettled lineup didnt seem to help here, as he was unable to break into quadruple figures, with only 3 players scoring more than 100 for him - new recruit Camby being the teams best contributor with 128. Doobs meanwhile, was best serviced by Felton with 231, and was supported by 3 others over 100, and only 1 player less than 35.

    <a title="Kings of Karlos (Sean Minetti)" href="http://games.espn.go.com/fba/clubhouse?leagueId=23530&amp;teamId=10&amp;seasonId=2011" target="_top">Kings of Karlos 1053 v <a title="Pikus United (Adam Ziegler)" href="http://games.espn.go.com/fba/clubhouse?leagueId=23530&amp;teamId=9&amp;seasonId=2011" target="_top">Pikus United 461

Not much to say here. As I mentioned earlier, Fzilla doesnt seem to have been around since matchup 2, and only used 9 players this round for a total of 27 games played. Karlos has been doing well so far, and has kept it up under no pressure at all - over doubling his opponents score while using 12 players for a total of 39 games played. He had 4 players break the ton compared to only 1 from PU, the best being Howard (150) and D West (124) respectively.

    <a title="Do Something Knicks (Chris Riches, Steve Smith)" href="http://games.espn.go.com/fba/clubhouse?leagueId=23530&amp;teamId=7&amp;seasonId=2011" target="_top">Do Something Knicks 869 v <a href="http://games.espn.go.com/fba/clubhouse?leagueId=23530&amp;teamId=1&amp;seasonId=2011" target="_blank">Team anthak 1075

I havent been keeping a close eye on this matchup, and I have to admit I was quite surprised to see I won this one by over 200 points! Neither team really had any injury trouble at all which was nice, although I admit that a few of the DSK boys are only just back on the court after injury layoffs. I had 4 players break the ton, compared to 3 from DSK; however the big difference was that 3 of mine broke 150 - Z Randolph (154), Nene (155) and Rose (197) - while only Durant (185) broke 150 for DSK.

    <a title="Westside Hardcore (Michael Walters)" href="http://games.espn.go.com/fba/clubhouse?leagueId=23530&amp;teamId=6&amp;seasonId=2011" target="_top">Westside Hardcore 996 v <a title="Under Achievers (Richard Chambers)" href="http://games.espn.go.com/fba/clubhouse?leagueId=23530&amp;teamId=11&amp;seasonId=2011" target="_top">Under Achievers 825

A few times already this season, Micka has unluckily lost with one of the highest scores of the round; however this round he has pulled off the win with one of the lowest scores of the week - one of only 2 winners not to reach quadruple figures. Micka had 7 players score at least 90, which is a lot, but only 1 of them scored more than 125 in Millsap with 137; while UAs had 4 players score over 90, but didnt have anyone higher than Kris Humphries on 114! This game went back and forth over the week with the lead changing a few times, however Micka was in control with a couple of days to go and held his lead to the end.

    <a title="Jasmines Mob (Jasmine Johnson)" href="http://games.espn.go.com/fba/clubhouse?leagueId=23530&amp;teamId=5&amp;seasonId=2011" target="_top">Jasmine’s Mob 1064 v <a title="Team HEAVER! (David Tong)" href="http://games.espn.go.com/fba/clubhouse?leagueId=23530&amp;teamId=13&amp;seasonId=2011" target="_top">Team HEAVER! 1233

Heaver has done what Jasmines previous 5 opponents could not. Finally the Dirk Diggler trophy can be awarded with Jasmines winning streak coming to an end. Both teams had 5 players score over 85, however Heaver had 3 with at least 190 - Horford (190), Bryant (193) and Love (268 - gee i hurt so much seeing scores like this one) - compared to only Deron Williams (243) of Jasmines Mob. Heaver got of to a great start, outscoring Jasmine over the first 4 days, before Jasmine put in a massive 364 point day to cut the lead back, and despite winning the next day as well, she never actually got her nose in front.

    <a title="Adelaide Maggots (Cameron Sears)" href="http://games.espn.go.com/fba/clubhouse?leagueId=23530&amp;teamId=4&amp;seasonId=2011" target="_top">Adelaide Maggots 782 v <a title="Team Fezkat (Kristian Collins)" href="http://games.espn.go.com/fba/clubhouse?leagueId=23530&amp;teamId=17&amp;seasonId=2011" target="_top">Team Fezkat 854

This round, 15 other teams scored more than what Fez did to win this low scoring game. I predicted Cameron to win this one by heaps, but he went and scored one of the lowest totals of the round! Even with Fezs injury concerns, it wasnt hard for him to post enough points to get over the line. Both teams only had 2 players post centuries - Stoudamire the best for Fez with 230; and CP3 the best for Cam with 164.

    <a title="Team El Bonanzas (Al Lee)" href="http://games.espn.go.com/fba/clubhouse?leagueId=23530&amp;teamId=3&amp;seasonId=2011" target="_top">Team El Bonanzas 505 v <a title="Too Seriouseses (Les Wales)" href="http://games.espn.go.com/fba/clubhouse?leagueId=23530&amp;teamId=2&amp;seasonId=2011" target="_top">Too Seriouseses 1267

It looked like Walesy was on track to post the highest score this round, before a big final day from Owen saw him pipped at the post. Just a shame it came against Elbonz, who doesnt seem to be back from os yet. - Heaver, have you been able to track him yet? The W was expected, but it cant take anything away from the huge score the TSes have put up. 8 of Walesys 13 players scored tons with 6 of them over 125 - Jamal Crawford the best with 171 - Awesome all round performance!

Now for the previews of matchup 7:

    <a title="Team Stowie (Daniel Stow)" href="http://games.espn.go.com/fba/clubhouse?leagueId=23530&amp;teamId=8&amp;seasonId=2011" target="_top">Team Stowie (3-3) v <a title="Dannys Lebronts (Danny Smith)" href="http://games.espn.go.com/fba/clubhouse?leagueId=23530&amp;teamId=18&amp;seasonId=2011" target="_top">Dannys Lebronts (5-1)

Stowie couldnt even beat the previously winless Fudges Sixers, so he will have no chance up against Dannys Lebronts!

    <a title="Run TMC (Owen Beebe)" href="http://games.espn.go.com/fba/clubhouse?leagueId=23530&amp;teamId=19&amp;seasonId=2011" target="_top">Run TMC (6-0) v <a title="Fudges Sixers (Jim Tsilikas)" href="http://games.espn.go.com/fba/clubhouse?leagueId=23530&amp;teamId=16&amp;seasonId=2011" target="_top">Fudges Sixers (1-5)

Who knows about this one???  Fudge is on a roll! but maybe not as big a one as Owen? I have only tipped against Fudge twice, and have a 50% record when doing so. Im going see what happens if i do it again, so Im tipping Run TMC - purely for scientific research. How could any sane person pick them for any other reason?

    <a title="Doobia Dominators (Andrew Dubowik)" href="http://games.espn.go.com/fba/clubhouse?leagueId=23530&amp;teamId=20&amp;seasonId=2011" target="_top">Doobia Dominators (3-3) v <a title="Wade Machine (Daniel Laengst)" href="http://games.espn.go.com/fba/clubhouse?leagueId=23530&amp;teamId=15&amp;seasonId=2011" target="_top">Wade Machine (4-2)

Doobs passed his first real test since taking charge of his team, and I expect him to continue that on against a hapless Wade Machine! My tip - who else but Doobia Dominators.

    <a title="Pikus United (Adam Ziegler)" href="http://games.espn.go.com/fba/clubhouse?leagueId=23530&amp;teamId=9&amp;seasonId=2011" target="_top">Pikus United (0-6) v <a title="Ruddys Cavaliers (Peter Rudd)" href="http://games.espn.go.com/fba/clubhouse?leagueId=23530&amp;teamId=14&amp;seasonId=2011" target="_top">Ruddys Cavaliers (2-4)

Not sure whats happened to Fzilla, but even if he did show up, with Pau leading the way, Ruddys Cavaliers will surely be too good.

    <a title="Kings of Karlos (Sean Minetti)" href="http://games.espn.go.com/fba/clubhouse?leagueId=23530&amp;teamId=10&amp;seasonId=2011" target="_top">Kings of Karlos (4-2) v <a title="Stevos Nuggets (Stephen Nilsson)" href="http://games.espn.go.com/fba/clubhouse?leagueId=23530&amp;teamId=12&amp;seasonId=2011" target="_top">Stevos Nuggets (2-4)

Might be a bit of an upset, but Steves gotta snap his losing streak sometime. I reckon with a more settled lineup, Stevos Nuggets will win this one.

    <a href="http://games.espn.go.com/fba/clubhouse?leagueId=23530&amp;teamId=1&amp;seasonId=2011" target="_blank">Team anthak (4-2) v <a title="Under Achievers (Richard Chambers)" href="http://games.espn.go.com/fba/clubhouse?leagueId=23530&amp;teamId=11&amp;seasonId=2011" target="_top">Under Achievers (1-5)

I am very surprised that UAs have started the season 1 and 5. Turns out there may not be a more aptly named team in the league. I am pretty happy with the way my team is traveling at the moment and I think Team anthak will get another win this week.

    <a title="Team HEAVER! (David Tong)" href="http://games.espn.go.com/fba/clubhouse?leagueId=23530&amp;teamId=13&amp;seasonId=2011" target="_top">Team HEAVER! (5-1) v <a title="Do Something Knicks (Chris Riches, Steve Smith)" href="http://games.espn.go.com/fba/clubhouse?leagueId=23530&amp;teamId=7&amp;seasonId=2011" target="_top">Do Something Knicks (2-4)

Hot off a win against Jasmine,  I cant go past Team Heaver!

    <a title="Team Fezkat (Kristian Collins)" href="http://games.espn.go.com/fba/clubhouse?leagueId=23530&amp;teamId=17&amp;seasonId=2011" target="_top">Team Fezkat (3-3) v <a title="Westside Hardcore (Michael Walters)" href="http://games.espn.go.com/fba/clubhouse?leagueId=23530&amp;teamId=6&amp;seasonId=2011" target="_top">Westside Hardcore (3-3)

Both teams are somehow 3 and 3, even though one is 5th on the points for ladder and the other is 17th! Gotta go with that points scoring form and tip Westside Hardcore.

    <a title="Too Seriouseses (Les Wales)" href="http://games.espn.go.com/fba/clubhouse?leagueId=23530&amp;teamId=2&amp;seasonId=2011" target="_top">Too Seriouseses (4-2) v <a title="Jasmines Mob (Jasmine Johnson)" href="http://games.espn.go.com/fba/clubhouse?leagueId=23530&amp;teamId=5&amp;seasonId=2011" target="_top">Jasmines Mob (5-1)

Jasmine will be keen to make amends for her first loss, whilst Walsey will want to prove his huge score last start was no fluke! I am a bit late putting this thread up and the first day of this matchup has already been played out - currently Jasmine is leading 246 to -7! However im tipping Too Seriouseses to come home hard and have their nose in front at the end. I love a good underdog story!

    <a title="Team El Bonanzas (Al Lee)" href="http://games.espn.go.com/fba/clubhouse?leagueId=23530&amp;teamId=3&amp;seasonId=2011" target="_top">Team El Bonanzas (0-6) v <a title="Adelaide Maggots (Cameron Sears)" href="http://games.espn.go.com/fba/clubhouse?leagueId=23530&amp;teamId=4&amp;seasonId=2011" target="_top">Adelaide Maggots (3-3)

    two words = Adelaide Maggots
