Once again I don't have much time do the write up this week. Once XMAS is over and done with, I will do some in depth analysis on the NBA season so far and what it means from a fantasy perspective.
One thing I have been surprised with somewhat is the lack of trades occurring in all of the leagues. It looks like people are either happy with their original draft choices and are going to stick with those decisions or have been picking up players direct from the FA list.
After round 7, there is now only only team without a win this season after Fudge scored his first win. I am ashamed to say my team is the only team still winless and I really don't know why I am doing the write up for the NBA fantasy basketball as it is painfully obvious that I have no idea judging by the performances of my team!
As usual I will do the review for the Premier League, Stowie will do the review for Division One and Rev will do the review for Division Two.
Premier League

Jasmine's Mob (5-2) 1747 v Run TMC (4-2-1) 1416
What a score by Jasmine this week! She led this match from start to finish and even though Run TMC posted a respectable score this round, they were never in the hunt. The best players for Jasmine were Parker (219/4), Lin (156/4) and AK47 (157/3). Run TMC had to rely upon George (162/3), Turner (157/4) and Noah (152/3)
Fudge's Sixers (1-6) 1184 v Linsanity 17 (0-7) 1138
In the battle of the also rans, Fudge was able to get his first win which was an incredible effort considering he had 3 players who were out for the whole matchup. Once again Timmy D led the way for Fudge with (184/4), followed by Lawson (164/4) and Pierce (158/3). I am not even going to bother talking about Linsanity.
Westside Hardcore (3-4) 1393 v Ruddy's Cavaliers (4-3) 1307
Westside played a whopping 10 games more than Ruddy this round and this enabled him to get the win. The best players for Westside were Howard (174/4), Aldridge (159/4) and JJ (142/4). The leading scorers for Ruddy this round were Artest (192/4), Hill (170/3) and Durant (132/2).
The Jug - O - Naughts (5-2) 1480 v Adelaide Maggotz (3-3-1) 1129
The Jug - O -Naughts were able to claim a convincing win this round and improve their record to 5-2 while the Maggotz slip back into the pack. King of Karlos (5-2) 1352 v Team Heaver (4-3) 1334
This match was the closest match in the Premier League this round. It all came down to the final game when Matthews left the court after only 4 minutes of playing time thus hurting the chances of Heaver getting the win. The best players for Karlos were Curry (172/4), Walker (168/4) and DWill (143/4). The leading scorers for Heaver this week were Irving (181/4) , Pek (155/3) and Horford (149/4)

Ryan Anderson (178 / 4), CP3 (156 / 3) and Marc Gasol (138 / 3) led the way for the Canuck Steelers.Nahla Vs LittleDee (3-4) (rodgo) 1333def Mildura Dunkanauts (4-3) (walesy) 1325Nahla Vs LittleDee got the upset win here with a huge last day from Kobe (245 / 4) and JaVale McGee (114 / 4) getting the job done. They also welcomed back rookie Anthony Davis (121 / 4) from injury. Mildura Dunkanauts got big weeks from Duncan (184 / 4), Lawson (164 / 4) and Durant (132 / 2).
The Bucks Fizz (2-5) (spm67) 1098 def by Travys Boys (3-4) (travyboy11) 1393
Seven players hit the tonne in the win for Travys Boys led by D12 (174 / 4), Steph Curry (172 / 4) and Jarrett Jack (170 / 4) in a great team effort. The Bucks Fizz were led by David Lee (203 / 4) who is racking up some huge numbers for the Warriors and Kemba (168 / 4) as they battled injuries to Tyreke and Melo through the matchup.
Crossy Crusaders (5-2) (crossy) 1534 def Broady Broncos (2-5) 1114
Crossy Crusaders rolled up the biggest score for the week, only dropping one day to Broady Broncos. It was the player formally known as Ron Artest (192 / 4) leading the way with PP34 (158 / 3) and LMA (159 / 3) also putting in a big effort. Broady Broncos again struggled with injuries to Lowry and Wes Matthews. Of the guys that did make it through the week Harden (164 / 4) and Jason Thompson (152 / 4) led the scoring.
Albert Park Rangers (1-6) (bgt) 1246 def by Everybody Loves Raymond (5-2) 1338
This one came down to the last day and it was Batum (110 / 3) overcoming a back injury to pick up a rare 5x5 and crush any chance the Albert Park Rangers had. Pekovic (155 / 3) and Paul George (162 / 3) both performed well for Everybody Loves Raymond, while Kirilenko (157 / 3) and Noah (152 / 3) led for Albert Park Rangers.
Team Stowie (4-3) (stowie) 1212 def by CK Nicks (4-3) (costak) 1245
Another one that was undecided going into the last day and then Calderon (183 / 4) went bang with a TD in the early game to give CK Nicks the win. Deron (143 / 4) was consistant and AI (141 / 4) finally found some form providing CK Nicks with a boost. Team Stowie were led by recent trade aquisitions George Hill (170 / 3) and J-Smoove (145 / 4).

<div>Six Ten Two Forty (4-3) 1484 defeated Mookie Blaylock Athletic Club (4-3) 1385
<div>
<div>
<div>This clash was close for most of the week, with 6-10-240 not really pulling away until the 2nd last day. 6-10 welcomed Kyrie Irving (181/4) back to the fold, and had strong weeks from Kemba (168/4), Pierce (158/3) and Turner (157/4). Mookie got value from Jarrett Jack (170/4) and Deron (143/4) but fell short by 100 points against a strong scoring 6-10-240.

<div>SmokinJoe Misiti (4-3) 1393 defeated Adelaide Celtics (2-5) 1344
<div>
<div>
<div>Smokin Joe grabbed their 4th win of the season in a close game with the Celtics. Both Parker (219/4) and Lee (203/4) managed to clear the double ton for Joe, while the Celts had World Peace (192/4) and Lawson (164/4) to thank for a strong, yet losing 1344.
<div>
<div>
<div>Laino's Nuggets (7-0) defeated Gosford Gunners (0-7)
<div>
<div>
<div>This was a David and Goliath matchup, with the winless Gunners against the unbeaten Nuggets. Laino once again cleared 1400 for the week with solid scores from George (162/3), Noah (152/3), Young (152/4) and Parsons (150/4). The Gunners yet again saw big weeks from the ageless Kobe (245/4) and Duncan (184/4), but had too few contributors to upset the Nuggets.
<div>
<div>
<div>Amnesty Clause Candidates (3-4) 1390 defeated Doobia Dominators (3-4) 1289
<div>
<div>
<div>Amnesty had a massive 400+ point day to thank for the win this week, with a solid all-round performance. Curry (172/4), Kirilenko (157/3), Varejao (155/4), Thompson (152/4), Smith (145/4) and Iggy (141/4) were the keys to the win. Doobia was hurt by KD (132/2) playing just 2 games for the week, but had solid hitouts from Linsanity (156/4) and Horford (149/4).
<div>
<div>
<div>The Raptors (4-3) 1214 defeated Cyril33s Crushers (5-2) 1195
<div>
<div>
<div>This was a see-sawing affair, with the Raptors taking the chocolates thanks to a final day come back. Howard (174/4) was the key player for the Raptors, and was supported by Rondo (139/3) and Knight (136/4). Lebron (163/3) was as expected for Cyril, but there was little else to write about in Cyril's second loss of the season. The possible return to form of Ilyasova (111/3) would be the main positive for Cyril in the loss.
<div>
<div>
<div>Peg's Men Lethal (5-2) 1231 defeated The Hinrich Manoeuvre (1-6) 1199
<div>
<div>
<div>This was another game decided on the final day, with Peg coming from behind to win. Peg had quality from Anderson (178/4), Hill (170/3) and Harden (164/4), while Hinrich had a good week from CP3 (156/3), Calderon (154/4) and Wallace (143/4). Hinrich is losing touch with the top 6 after falling to 1-6, while Peg cemented his place near the top of the table moving to 5-2.
