    Anthak (3-4) 1389 defeated Wade Machine (5-2) 1300

Anthak was able to get back on the winner's list this week with a hard fought win over Wade Machine. Games played were 40-35 in favour of Anthak. Both teams were missing key players throughout the matchup. Carmelo was the standout for Anthak with (248/4), next best were Rubio (195/4) and Bledsoe (186/3). Wade Machine had a quiet week this round and will be eager to bounce next week. This week their best players were Curry (251/4), Noah (184/3) and Monroe (135/4).

    Run TMC (3-4) 1357 defeated Jasmine's Mob (1-6) 1266

This match went down to the wire and Rum TMC were able to outscore Jasmine by 80 pts to build onto their slender lead at the beginning of the final day. Games played were 40-39 in favour of Run TMC. Jasmine is not having much luck this season and will be hoping to get some wins on the board over the next few rounds to avoid getting drawn into a relegation battle. This week the best players for Run TMC were Drummond (162/4), J Smoove (152/4) and Jennings (148/4). The leading scorers for Jasmine were D12 (161/3), Holiday (145/3) and Boozer (139/4).

    Westside Hardcore (6-1) 1523 defeated Ruddy's Cavaliers (1-6) 1300

Both teams played 43 games in this matchup but Westside were far too strong. Westside is firing on all cylinders at the moment but Ruddy is struggling to recapture their form from last year. CP3 led the way for Westside with (268/4), next best were Batum (184/4) and Bogut (143/4). Ruddy's best players were Walker (169/4), Jefferson (152/4) and Burke (145/4).

The Jug O Naughts (4-3) defeated Too Seriouseses (3-4) 1246

The Jug O Naughts were able to get a comfortable victory over Walesy and improved their record to 4-3 for the season. LMA was the best for Jug O Naughts with (259/4), DMC (231/4) and Z Bo (139/4). Walesy this week relied upon IT2 (206/4), Irving (190/3) and Bargnani (124/4). Both teams will be looking to get some more wins on the board over the next few rounds to keep pace with the league leaders.

    King of Karlos (6-1) 1828 defeated Heaver (5-2) 1380

Any team that scores 550+ on a day will never get beaten and this proved to be case in this matchup. Karlos put the pedal to the floor this round and posted a huge score of 1828 and as a result Heaver never had a chance. Games played were 45-40 in favour of Karlos. Durant was the best with (266/4), next best were Duncan (199/4) and Griffin (161/4). The leading scorers for Heaver were Westbrook (263/4), followed by Harden (134/3) and Horford (129/3).

    Division One

    <div dir='ltr]Fudge Fudge (2-5) 1440 def by Adelaide Maggots (4-3) 1665

That's four in a row now for the Maggots as they've found their groooove behind PG pair Steph Curry (251 / 4) and IT2 (206 / 4) who is loving life as a starter in SacTown. On the opposite side, Fudge has now lost three straight despite a massive week from LMA (259 / 4) and solid performances from Runio (195 / 4) and LBJ (124 / 2).

    Cyril33s Crushers (1-6) 1309 def by The Raptors (5-2) 1406

The Raptors managed to hold on for a win despite not having MCW play any games. The heavy lifting was left to Kawhi (157 / 4), Mike Dunleavy (156 / 4) and DWill (153 / 4). A resurgent Timmy D (199 / 4) led for the Crushers with Batum (184 / 4) also having a big week.

    Laino's Nuggets (4-3) 1288 def by Travys Boys (4-3) 1324

Travys Boys continue to let their defence to the talking, winning another close, low scoring affair. Henson (208 / 4) had a big week and Brandon Jennings (148 / 4) is looking to be a nice fit in a remodelled Detroit. Laino's got a big week from Westbrook (243 / 4) but ended up with a number of players missing games including BroLo, Deng and Tony Allen.

Crossy Crusaders (3-4) 1570 def by Broady Broncos (4-3) 1586

Crossy used all five acquisitions this week but fell just short of the Broncos on the last day. Ten players hit triple figures for the Broncos led by CP3 (268 / 4), Kemba (169 / 4) and Hawes (131 / 4). Melo (248 / 4), Hayward (181 / 4) and Drummond (162 / 4) led the way for the Crusaders.

    Mookie Blaylock Athletic Club (6-1) 1699 def Liquid's Sixers (1-6) 1638

The MBAC machine keeps humming along as they close out another week with a massive score and a win. It was KLove (305 / 4) returning from a week off doing most of the damage with new ROY favourite Oladipo (154 / 4) and Blake Griffin (161 / 4) also scoring well. L6 were led by KD (266 / 4) with Suns backcourt pair Dragic (172 / 3) and Bledsoe (186 / 3) also firing on all cylinders.

Team Stowie (4-3) 1317 def by CK Nicks (4-3) 1473

The tradition of the holidaying owner getting a win continues as CK Nicks used a couple of big days to hold off Stowie. DMC (231 / 4) and a rejuventated Kyrie (190 / 3) led the way for CK while Conley (148 / 4) and Ibaka (138 / 4) led for Stowie. CK also took out the battle of the blokes named Nikola with Pekovic (151 / 4) outscoring Vucevic (109 / 4).

    Week 8 Matchups

    Adelaide Maggots (4-3) at Cyril33s Crushers (1-6)

    The Raptors (5-2) at Laino's Nuggets (4-3)

Travys Boys (4-3) at Crossy Crusaders (3-4)

Broady Broncos (4-3) at Mookie Blaylock Athletic Club (6-1)

CK Nicks (4-3) at Fudge Fudge (2-5)

    Division Two

    <div class='WordSection1]
Another week, another entertaining round of games in Division 2. This week marked the first loss for the previously undefeated Bokoshe Broken Arrows. Now every team in Division 2 has won at least one game and lost at least one game. No trades were completed this week (not through lack of trying from some GM's though!).

Results for this past round were as follows:

    Paky Ballers (3-3) - 1569 def Biggest Losers (4-2) - 1341

The Biggest Losers suffered their 3rd defeat in 4 weeks, this time at the hands of the Ballers. The absence of Anthony Davis is really hurting the Losers and they are hoping his hand injury mends closer to the 4 week mark than 6 weeks. The Ballers posted a great score on the back of the OKC duo of Durant and Westbrook, who posted over 500 points between them. Games played was in favour of the Ballers 46-42.

Top performers for the week were:

Paky Ballers: Kevin Durant - 266/4

    Russell Westbrook - 243/4

    Glen Davis - 148/4

The Biggest Losers: Kemba Walker - 169/4

    Nikola Pekovic - 151/4

    James Harden - 134/3

    Brisbane Average Joes (3-3) - 1583 def Six Ten Two Forty (5-1) - 1493

The Average Joes patience in the struggling Kyrie Irving finally paid dividends this week with a last day win over the Two Forty's. A 94 point difference on the final days play lead to a 90 point victory for the Joes. LeBron only playing 2 games for the week sure didn't help Two Forty. Games played was in Two Forty' favour 44-42 which would have made this loss hard to swallow for GM Bodo.

Top performers for the week were:

Brisbane Average Joes: Kyrie Irving - 190/3

    Gordon Hayward - 181/4

    Goran Dragic - 172/3

Six Ten Two Forty: Nicolas Batum - 184/4

    Blake Griffin - 161/4

    Trey Burke - 145/4

    Smokin Joe Misiti (1-5) - 1377 def Adelaide Celtics (1-5) - 1281

The battle of the cellar dwellers was a close contest with SJM setting up the week early with a big score on day 2 which eventually led to the victory. The return of Kobe Bryant has surely been highly anticipated by GM McCallum and now it is here it has already started to bear fruit. Games played was 39-37 in favour of SJM.

Top performers for the week were:

Smokin Joe Misiti: Steph Curry - 251/4

    Paul Millsap - 131/3

    Amir Johnson - 128/3

Adelaide Celtics: Isaiah Thomas - 206/4

    Joakim Noah - 184/3

    Kawhi Leonard - 157/4

    Nahla vs Little Dee (4-2) - 1308 def Bokoshe Broken Arrows (6-0) - 1305

What a game! The Broken Arrows have their first taste of defeat at the hands of Little Dee, and by the smallest of margins of only 3 points! This game would have come down to the last couple of minutes of the last game of the day! Another great result for Little Dee who has knocked off two of the better teams in the past two weeks. What was very interesting about this result is that the Broken Arrows GM Brett T didn't use any of his 5 allocated waiver wire acquisitions, mainly for the fact that his squad of 14 are all established players, I assume there was no-one that he wanted to drop! What a predicament. Little Dee trailed in the games played count 38-39 which made the victory all that more sweet.

Top performers for the week were:

Nahla vs Little Dee: Brandon Jennings - 148/4

    Andrew Bogut - 143/4

    Serge Ibaka - 138/4

Bokoshe Broken Arrows: John Henson - 208/4

    Ricky Rubio - 195/4

    Damian Lillard - 144/4

    Manimal Love Favors (1-5) - 1730 def Doobia Dominators (2-4) - 1249

Huge win this week by MLF over the Dominators, set up by a massive Friday the 13th score of 450 points for MLF! Kevin Love absolutely killed it this week breaking the 300 point barrier for the week. The Dominators were well served again by Aldridge and Carmelo but it looked as if injuries played a part in the loss with the games played being 45-40 in MLF's favour.

Top performers for the week were:

Manimal Love Favors: Kevin Love - 305/4

    Eric Bledsoe - 186/3

    Robin Lopez - 179/4

Doobia Dominators: LaMarcus Aldridge - 259/4

    Carmelo Anthony - 248/4

    Tony Parker - 137/4

    The Hinrich Manoeuvre (2-4) - 1764 def Peg's Men Lethal (4-2) - 1413

THM had a fairly easy victory over PML this week, with the final margin being 351 points. The victory was set up by a consistent 7 day effort by THM with the highlight being a 421 point day on the 13th. In saying that PML were able to muster a score of 404 on the same day! Games played was 44-42 in THM's favour.

Top performers for the week were:

The Hinrich Manoeuvre: Chris Paul - 268/4

    Tim Duncan - 199/4

    David Lee - 171/4

    Peg's Men Lethal: DeMarcus Cousins - 231/4

    Jameer Nelson - 157/4

    Victor Oladipo - 154/4

Match-ups for week 8 as follows:

Doobia Dominators (2-5) vs Biggest Losers (4-3)

Six Ten Two Forty (5-2)vs Smokin Joe Misiti (2-5)

Adelaide Celtics (1-6) vs Bokoshe Broken Arrows (6-1)

Nahla vs Little Dee (5-2) vs Manimal Love Favors (2-5)

Paky Ballers (4-3) vs The Hinrich Manoeuvre (3-4)

Peg's Men Lethal (4-3)vs Brisbane Average Joes (4-3)
