Ok, I have created an NBL fantasy team on the Sportal website. It looks pretty good so if anyone who wants some extremely non-serious fun on the extra, join up and enter the TS league I have made. Code: 601412. I decided I'm not cut out for the NBA gurus, so I decided that this was way easier an waaaaay less serious!
Anyway, join up if you like your NBL!

So the Crocs have dumped both imports, Forte and Withers. Gives them like 2 weeks to find new ones...

Need to get myself up to speed with the nbl before the season starts so can't comment on the actual squad but comparing your team to Popey's above you must have a lot of spare &#36;&#36;&#36;&#36; left in the kitty.

Popey's pic was from Sportal which is slightly different in pricing.

@bgt There is 2 different ways to go about it. A) load up completely on your starting team and try to find bargains on the bench (my option) B) Find bargains on the field and have a stronger bench with heaps of cash. To be honest, I much prefer to be firing on all cylinders at the start of the year and then try to find cash during the year. But if that's how Stowie rolls, that's cool as well! Nice team Stowie, but you'll need to have 1 of Johnson or Jackson as they average 7-8 more points than the rest if the players in the comp. Apart from that it is strong as most of those players have had strong pre-seasons.

Oh, and my screenshotted team is on the Sportal website, but as the scoring systems are the same as the iinet comp, I have the same team for both. I'll post my team with the same prices as Stowies so you can compare:<img src="http://tooserious.net/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/2q50t-image.jpg" />

Bgt and Stowie, u guys should come and play at Sportal as well. It's just as good and we need the league numbers! Code: 601412. The link to the site is up top.

Also, what do you think of going Holmes to Lazare and save some &#36;? Might be a genius move cause he might average as much as Holmes. But on the other hand, the was 2 mights in that sentence...

@Popey - I reckon Holmes to Lazare a pretty good idea, hopefully that'll free up some cash for you to up one of your bench guards to Cadee who is set for a big year at the Sixers - Mark.My.Words :D

I must admit, I love Holmes as a player simply for the grit and tenacity he brings to the court (was one of my fave Sixers players when he was with them).
His biggest problem though is in those games where he doesn't get his usual stack of rebounds then his fantasy scoring is significantly reduced simply because he isn't a regular high contributor on the scoreboard.
But he is certainly one of those players always in the mix for me to look at when trying to finalise an upgraded team because he can be a decent bench player near the end of the season.

Holmes out - Lazare in, Demos out - Cadee in. What do you reckon? Leaves me with 18k. ;)

Does anyone want to have a crack at some fantasy a-league for a little bit more entertainment? This is the last we will talk about this in this forum, but I have another forum set up n the soccer section with all the info if you guys are interested. Finding it hard to get people to play at the minute, that's all!
