Thanks for starting this Ant. Noticed you managed an 8th in one of this week's gamedays too!!! Think @MrsBear managed a top 20 finish in one as well (seems she has the hang of it better than me)
Ha, I didnt even notice that myself... thats cool, thanks for telling me I just checked it out and I was actually equal 6th.... I havent been doing too well in gameday most of the time, usually rank around 100th or so, sometimes much worse, but rarely better. Currently ranked 20th overall in season-long format. Im happy with that start, but a long way to go still.
Good work on those who have been placing high in both new games! I'm finding the new format challenging, as I've not quite worked it all out. The positions are much more restrictive than the other league, which makes it hard with all the value at SF this season, and they seem to attempt to avoid major swings in scoring - each round increase/decrease is capped at +/-$100k. So you have to hold onto the imports who came in at $1m for a lot longer in order to get their value increase. Likewise, you aren't taking a huge hit from some poor form due to something like foul trouble. I intend to work out exactly what the formula they use is, in order to allow us to do some better predicting, but I'm gonna wait till after I play you this week Ant!

I hope Carrera is ok. Looked like it couldve been really bad, but who knows. I was very close to captaining him this week and I'm very pleased I didnt. I love how NBL Fantasy has live scores and even live ranking all throughout the games and round! I'm currently ranked 7th overall after the 1st 2 games this round. Have 3 players yet to play (but everyone in the comp will have 11 players to play for the remainder of the round anyway), and a couple of duds so far (Carrera and DKD scoring -2 between them!) but stoked with McCarron 80 and captain JPTokoto with 44, and Scoochie on my bench with half of 46. Ive also got $0.99mil in the bank to spend next week
Well Isaac Humphries was a bad trade-in this week. I didnt think Jeremy Tyler would be suiting up for Sydney so soon. I surrendered points because I thought Humphries would've made some coin for me in this one week, but looks like he'll lose value! Bad decision on my part!
Looks like Tyler might be an essential trade-in this week - looked pretty good considering only been with the team a few days, and combine that with 3 DGW's in a row, and a gun distributor of the ball coming into the team, he definitely seems to have the hallmarks of a being a must have
yeah, I tend to agree, however the foul trouble was a little worrying. I slipped a little this week in the rankings, back to 23rd oa. Had a net score of 1 from 3 players - Carrera, Humphries and DKD! Humphries lost minutes to Tyler (and Singh started I believe!); and DKD was forced completely out of the rotation by Steindl joining the team. Gonna have to trade 2 of them this week, but not sure which ones...

I had a terrible week this week and slipped back to 68th oa I saw some good scores in the league this week, well done to yous all
Complete opposite for me, finally had a good week, 13th for the week and up to 67th overall. That will be my flash in pan for this year..

Not as strong tbh, 2 high scorers not playing doubles and benched, but not awful I think? After trades.. Tempted to play 1 Bryce game over 2 x Weeks but I've had that move backfire on me before
Anyone else having issues with the Gameday format? Past 2 weeks I've selected and saved teams for each day, only to find out when checking the results that i'm only getting the scores of 2-4 players each time!!! Seems it doesn't save the team properly despite me clicking the save button.
