Hey all, Wanted to give the heads up now, so you have an offseason to find someone new, but unfortunately I will have commitments starting next year that are going to stop me from participating in this league and over in the FL as well for at least the foreseeable future. All the best to all of you, it's been a brilliant 8 years in this league, and I'll still check in at times, and plan to come back at some stage further down the track if there is an opportunity. Let me know if you need anything from me for a handover.
Thanks for all the effort you have put in to the FF mate. You've left a pretty good list for someone to be taking over as well.
Have had a couple of expressions of interest here. We have offered the ORFFL vacancy to @tim0714 and our esteemed colleague mr @snoz will take on the ORFFF vacancy. Welcome to the ORFFF Mr Byrne!
In a first for TooSerious, ORFF* land is going to the Northern Hemisphere. We have a few of us coaches OS trying to manage clubs back home in Oz & NZ but it can sometimes be a pain in the arse (time diff, day is night, night is day etc)........ So without further ado, the lads from Tassie, Mole Creek, are moving to the States. Now I've done zero research to see if this is even allowed in ORFFF rules, but we are currently on a QANTAS flight right now for early pre season training down the Jersey Shore. The Pony is an icon venue over here, situated on the beach, made famous for giving Bruce & Jon Bon their start in life - but more importantly, Asbury Park was the spot to be for all bands back in the day and today. Hell a few weeks back I got to see the Killers and Foo Fighters right here in AP. The commute is gonna suck for opposing teams, but once landed you'll have beers and music on the beach before game day, so not so bad. I've got a couple of spare bedrooms if needed too............. We will now be known as The Stone Ponys !!
