    <div>Well the ORFFA FIXture leader Ant has received the submissions from the Top 4 teams, and the first round of finals matchups has been decided. There was a raft of bidding for the television rights form a lot of networks, however in a small surprise, the free-to-air rights were won by Imparja Television, a national, indigenous television service produced in Sydney and broadcast via Imparja Television's existing satellite capacity. For the PayTV component of the deal, Imparja partnered with SelecTV. SelecTV is available throughout Australia via satellite and focuses on providing content in comparatively low priced packages to a number of specialised market segments; including Spanish, Greek, and Italian. It is anticipated that being able to stream AFL in other languages may yield some exciting European style commentary. One hopes that a player can begin a scintillating run from the half back line, take 4-5 bounces and slot one from 50 with the commentator going off his nut and finishing with a long drawn out guttural GOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL to bring the house down for those armchair surfers not getting out to the matches.

    <div>Onto the fixtures themselves.
    <div>
    <div>Iron Knob v Powlett Plains : Friday 16 August 8:00pm AEST
    <div>The flag favourites take on a Powlett Plains outfit that have surprised the bookies this year, but faded off towards the end of the home and away season with some injuries to key personnel. Iron knob have dominated the year, however have hit a couple of bumps in the road on the way home with Gary Ablett turning up at the wrong ground one week and then the team suffering a surprise defeat to the Spelunkers in the penultimate round. Iron Knob have the who's who of players in their team. Ablett, Hanley, Griffen, Goldstein, Minson etc&amp;hellip; the list just goes on. If they all fire at once they are capable of scoring well over 1500. However Prap will be counting on his older players like Ball, Riewoldt, Tuck, Cornes, Newman and Murphy to bring the big game experience to the match and hopefully catch Iron Knob half asleep with the hand on their codpiece at the first bounce. Big concerns for the Packers in the Ruck and up forward&amp;hellip; hopefully a few players can get up for the match.

    I think Iron knob will be too strong and will run out winners by 237 points.

    <div>Waikikamoocow v Birdsville : Saturday 17 August 12:00 AEST
    <div>The Battlers have a trip across to the land of venison and pinot this week to take on the cows from Ekatahuna. Given that the two teams played each other in the last game of the home and away, they know each other's form, and will try and exploit any weaknesses discovered in the mid week review of the tape. Coach Chels is up and about for this one, with some of his finest vintage being bottled from 200 year old oak barrels as we speak. Rank outsiders at the start of the season, the Cows have surprised many to finish second on the ladder, but when you look at the midfield of Teen wolf Nat Fyfe, Hannebery, McVeigh, Coruch, Ziebell and Tom Mitchell&amp;hellip; you can see why they finished where they did. Coach JC will be hoping the Birdsville forward line fires up, with Cloke seeming a little out of sorts last weekend, and big Ben McEvoy and Sauce Merrett will become the enforcers to try and psych out the younger Waikik players with some hardness at the ball.
    <div>
    <div>Waikikamoocow won last weeks clash by 175 points&amp;hellip; I see this one being a little closer but expect the cows to get home.
    <div>
    <div>Foul Bay v Wagga Wagga : Saturday 17 August 8:00pm AEST
    <div>Last years premiers come up against one of the new teams this season, and there will be a lot of interest in this game to see if the Chief can get his selections right. Coach Lenny of the Wombats has had some of his players hit some form streaks recently, and he will be hoping the likes of Cox, Goddard and Swallow continue their great form. The Chief will be agonising over his selections, and hoping to god he can get it right for once this season. With Tomahawk being ruled out of the game Dahlhaus may get a run&amp;hellip; will it be his last for the Chooks before the Spelunkers come knocking at the door come trade time? Foul Bay's engine room is all class, with Selwood, Dangerfield, Liberatore, Kelly, Bartel and old man Judd posing scoring threats. Hopefully the crowd get to see Rebecca run out at the start of the game in a cheerleaders outfit as well. Wagga have a few weapons in their arsenal as well, with Beams, Prestia and Bastinac trying their best to bust open the game as well.
    <div>
    <div>This is a match that is a little closer than it looks on paper in my opinion but I think the Chooks will take this one by 117 points.
    <div>
    <div>Charlie's Opening v Darraweit Guim : Sunday 18 August 2:00pm AEST

    Charlie's Opening have flown under the radar in the second half of the season&amp;hellip; I am not sure many outside of The Pit realise that they were on a 7 game winning run, undefeated after the mid season break. The spectre of Darraweit Guim looms high however, as they were the last team to knock off the Spelunkers in Round 10. Coach Bandit has been hit hard with injuries in the last couple of weeks, first losing Sam Reid with a quad, Andrew Swallow with a season ending Achilles, and then Ben Reid and Jack Gunston with minor ailments over the last couple of weeks. The team however have continues to score well, with an average of 1370 over the past four matches. Darraweit will be hoping the mullet takes Giles apart in the ruck, and provides first option to the like on Cunnington, Foley and Walker. Charlie's Opening have arguably the best back line in the game with Shaw, Mackie, Hooker and Reid all having solid seasons, but their fortunes in this game will rely on the forward line of Petrie, Gunston, LeCras and Hansen.

    This will be a cracking match, and I think it will be very close affair just like the last encounter. The Spelunkers by less than 50.
