THEME – Bring Out Your Dead Round

As befits the final round before that greatest of events, that night of nights, the star-studded ORFFA mid-season draft, we quietly, respectfully and thoughtfully employ our stretcher-bearers to visit each team’s HQ and ask for volunteers.

Gundagai Grasshoppers v Charlies Opening Spelunkers
Iron Knob Codpieces v Gariwerd Cockatoos
Larrikin Lagoon Lefties v Foul Bay Chickens
Lovely Banks Lilacs v Dunsborough Dung Beetles
Marble Bar Misfits v Cradle Mountain Devils
Mt Beauty Uglies v Birdsville Battlers
Nareewillock Nuffers v Wineglass Bay Packers
Venus Bay Vultures v Whitsunday Warriors
Wagga Wagga Wombats v Waikikamoocow Incorrigibles

Spelunkers Team to take on the Gundagai juggernaut @snoz

Wardlaw coming up against @snoz 's pies, so he gets another week to get up to speed with how we play.

Few folks at the bottom end of my talent pool going to be looking for new gigs in the mid season me thinks

Probably only 11 guys likely to rock up this week.

    Is it September yet?

It's been that long since I've seen or heard anything about some of my players, we might need to get the police to do a welfare check to see if they're ok.

In the spirit of the bring out our dead round the cows nominate Thomson Dow and Cooper Whyte as our stretcher bearers. Just not quite sure how they carry themselves out.

Nine players in and the Nuffers were looking at a lovely total. Alas, the wet weather (Ryan, Miller) and reversion to the mean (CCJ) were a bit ugly.

Thankfully JHF and the ageless Charlie Cameron helped out late.

Too good @snoz... thought I was a sneaky chance when Oliver was out.

Same number of tons, but too many mediocre scores cost me
