Well, another round of the ORFFA has been won and lost. Two rounds into the season and some coaches are looking forward to the mid season draft. The grudge match between Mawson and Charlies Opening a highlight which went down to the wire. Results  over the break.......<!--more-->

Whitsundays  918 lost to Marble Bar 1054

The talk is all about marshmallows and cocktail umbrellas again this week after the Warriors lose their second home match in a row to the heavily refreshed Misfits. The Whitsunday board has come out in full support of the coach after a dreadful week for Warriors fans.

Birdsville 1235 lost to Darraweit Guim 1265

Crackerjack match this one with a huge effort by the Guim skipper to get them over the line. A long haul back up the Birdsville Track after a loss, but no shame in this one.

Gariwerd 1300 defeated Powlett PLains 976

Some things in life are just plain great. Brett Deledio is one of these things and powered the Grampians to a big win over an injury riddled Packers. Coach of Powletts Plains in more trouble with injury than he has been since the Permian extinction.

Namatjira 1080 lost to Far Kew 1140.

In the battle of the haves and have nots, the haves ended up having again, if you get what I mean. Class warfare makes it onto the football field with the Frogs hopping off home with the four points.

Nunawading 1054 lost to Venus Bay 1205.

Nuffers go to zip and two with a defeat at the hands of the Vultures, whilst the converse holds true for the boys from Venus Bay. Rookie coach of the pipi diggers continues to impress with another good win.

Waikikamoocow 1167 lost to Foul Bay 1386

Incorrigible spirit not enough to get the Kiwis over the line against a powerful Foul Bay outfit. Mitch Robinson had a poor week after alleged dog bite rumours levelled against him. The Coup claims another victim.

Iron Knob 1336 defeated Gundagai 1300

Fantastic high scoring game played in ugly conditions at Iron Knob. Luke Breust the unlikely match winner in the end. Gundagai unlucky to score 1300 and lose.

Mount Beauty 1238 defeated Cradle Mountain 1220

It was a big night out at the Settlers Tavern after the Mount Beauty boys downed the Taswegians in a tight one. Ok, so the Bogong View was a better pub but some mongrel burnt it down not so long ago and it still hasnt been rebuilt. Beau Waters and the Cotch combining to pull out the win for the Kiewa Valley.

Charlies Opening 1300 defeated Mawson Base 1273

Another fantastic game saw the Spelunkers get home in a torrid affair which saw mining and ice picks brandished by the different supporters. Heath Shaw, Andrew Swallow and Kieran Jack all relishing the underground conditions. When interviewed after the game the Spelunkers coach was heard to mutter "at least we timed the dexies right this week" in the vicinity of an off microphone.

Run out of time tonight so ladder will have to accompany Round Preview on Friday.
