And the Spelunkers team to take on the shit rollers... if Short doesn't get named Ashcroft will go into the mids and Judd McVee will make his debut on the bench

I dont even know who I am against this week but I woukd say that they will win. I stuffed my team up so horribly bad this week it's not funny. In other news Stwart is playing well, so thats a positive.
Foul Bay Chickens 1,329 defeated Cradle Mountain 1,203 Foul Bay Chickens best players: Patrick Dangerfield 118, Liam Duggan 109, Kyle Langford 107, J Ziebell 106, Tom Liberatore 101, Harry Sheezel 100 Cradle Mountain Devils best players: Tim English 139, Rowan Marshall 123, Jacob Hopper 115 Dayne Zorko 110, Scott Pendlebury 92, Nick Vlastuin 90 In each of the past six seasons the Foul Bay Chickens and Cradle Mountain Devils have finished in the top half of the ORFFA ladder and within three places of each other on the end of season ladder. In four consecutive seasons from 2017 to 2020 Foul Bay and Cradle Mountain finished as close as possible to one another on the ladder with the Devils finishing one place above the Chickens in 2017 followed by FBC finishing one place ahead of CMD in all three seasons from 2018 to 2020. Foul Bay entered their Round 5 home game second on the ladder with the Devils in the familiar position of being one place below the Chickens in third place. The two sides were evenly matched in the first half with the Chickens leading the Devils by 13 points at the main break, 612 to 599. Foul Bay lifted their scoring rate in the second half whilst Cradle Mountain maintained the some scoring rate, resulting in the Chickens recording a 126 point victory, 1329 to 1,203, consolidating their top four position and putting some space between themselves and the Devils on the ladder. Well done on the victory @ChiefRussell. Midfielder Patrick Dangerfield (118) was the only Chicken to poll in the Les W Medal, receiving three votes. Foul Bay won the triple figure count 6-4 with Liam Duggan (109), Kyle Langford (107), Jack Ziebell (106), Tom Liberatore (101) and first year player Harry Sheezel (100) all reaching the ton. Foul Bay had to wait until the 11th ORFFA PSD for their first top 10 pick but with pick 10 in 2023 well and truly hit a bullseye with their selection of Sheezel. Over the first five rounds of his ORFFA career forward Sheezel has been phenomenal, reaching triple figures in every game and averaging 111.8 points per game – ranked 15th in the ORFFA. FBC delivered a consistent team performance in Round 5 with 10 scores of at least 85 and no sub 55 scores. Devils ruckman Tim English (139) was best afield for the third consecutive game to increase his tally to 23 votes and extend his lead in the Les W Medal to seven votes over Charlie's Opening defender Nick Daicos. CMD ruck Rowan Marshall (123), midfielder Jacob Hopper (115) and forward Dayne Zorko (110) all featured in the votes. Whilst the Devils dominated the Les W Medal votes 12-3 Cradle Mountain’s bottom five players were soundly beaten by their Foul Bay counterparts by a ton, 235-335. Thanks to @TheTassieHawk for his spreadsheet which provides a summary of each club’s performance over the history of the ORFFA. With their Round 5 victory Foul Bay became the first team to reach 600 premiership points in the ORFFA, increasing their tally to 602 premiership points. The maximum premiership points a team can earn in a season is 68 which Foul Bay achieved in the inaugural 2012 season. Foul Bay’s tally of 602 premiership points equates to 78.4% of the maximum 768 premiership points on offer from Round 1 2012 to Round 5 2023, an incredible success rate to sustain for over a decade. Congratulations on this milestone @ChiefRussell. The Chickens have defied gravity to finish in the top half of the ORFFA ladder in every season and rank first in all three of the following categories with five minor premierships, eight top four finishes and 10 times in the top eight. After Round 5, 2023 no team is within 68 premiership points of Foul Bay’s tally of 602 and only two teams, Venus Bay (516) premiership points and Waikikamoocow Incorrigibles (506) are within 136 premiership points of FBC which highlights how dominant the Chickens have been.
