    @snoz did this…

Cradle Mountain lose their first match & go to 7-1 with their 1317 Vs 1358 loss to Birdsville who get back to .500 at 4-4.

Big upset as the Battlers take down 2nd place & the previously unbeaten Devils in a tight contest. Old man Zorko (166)

led the way for the Devils, along with Steele (111), RoMa (103) and WTF Maric (126) but were let down by Naughton (48),

Toby (54), Battle (64) and Langdon (64). The triumphant Battlers were superbly led by Sniff (154), TDK (104), Ryan (120)

and F$#% McKay (133) to run out winners by 41 points.

The Mighty Mighty Hoppers march on to 7-1 with their thrashing (cough*cough) of the Lefties 1328 to 1220 to keep them at 0-8.

In the battle of Melbs via Asbury Park versus the marsupial island boy, Mike’s mob actually played bloody well and were

just stiff to come up against my mob this week; signs of life at the rebuilding Lefties! The Hoppers were led by Grundy (121),

Suitcase (120), Peatling (117) and Cripps (102) but were let down by the heavily tagged Newc (57), who was blanketed

by his team-mate Oliver (64…..the f%$# you doing Clayton, you’re on the same side). The Lefties Xerri was BOG in this match

with a superb 186, but the lack of depth shows in Nank (61), Bowes (51), SPP (53) & Georgiadis (57).

After getting their first win last week, the Vultures (1063) get a reality check from the Packers (1451) who are seriously starting to click.

Tracey had NINE centurions in this shellacking: super premo Ash (113), ex Pie Noble (106), Hewett (100), Finn (104), Worpel (122),

DCam (113), Baker (119), Uwland (100) and Andy (I play good once a month) McGrath (146). To see their record at 3-4-1 just doesn’t

do this squad justice who are in for a massive 2ndhalf. Fitzy’s boys must’ve still been drunk after their week-long celebration with

their 35 point win over the Lilacs last week. NAS (103), Kysaiah (106), old man Parker (129) and a remarkable BOG performance

by Jack Crisp (171) must have taken their Barocca’s but the rest of the team forgot.

The 4th placed Nuffers continue their strong season with a 1360 to 1028 thrashing of the 12th placed Lilacs.

Six tons to two saw Nareewillock convincingly win: Dale (127), Clark (146), Redman (127), Serong (104) and the Horne (118)

led the Nuffers, who also had Higgins (37) puking up in the rooms and a debut by young Simms (45) to show the depth is still there.

The Lilacs continue to rebuild – but with tons from only Wines (101) and Bolton (114), they will need the younger brigade to step

up soon, namely Trainor (46), Curtain (22) and Sharp (38).

The Wombats (1108) came up against the still undefeated Spelunkers (1345) & gave them a run but 2 donuts in the end were costly.

Charlie’s Opening were not at the top of their game, but their spine held firm. Blakey (136), Brayshaw (154), LJ (111) and Hogan (162)

with a BOG performance that made up for down weeks from Duggan (51), Meek (43) and the late out of Short covered by Buckley (63).

Six tons for the Wombats: Sicily (121), Worrell (115), Bergman (104), Libba (132), Rozee (134) and Setterfield (115) were all amazing,

but that could not paper over the cracks of a Ridley donut, a bench donut and a vertically challenged Impey (42) playing out of position in the ruck.

The Codpieces (1165) break their duck with their first win of the season over the tumbling (…but rebuilding?) Incorrigibles (1075).

Martin (145), Sincs (124), SDK (117), Man Child Riley Thilthorpe (113) and Rookie of the year ZReid (133) led the way for Iron Knob,

holding up their struggling teammates in McKerch (41), fatso & now injured Jake (24) and NOT General Paton (6). It was enough though,

as the flightless birds only had Dunks (139) and RoB (100) ton up, whilst the young’uns chimed in with CoS (49), MReid (36) and

Morris (24) with hopefully better years ahead of these fledgling moo cows.

10th place Junee (1190) come out on top of the 6th place Uglies (1143) in an upset !!

A mid-low scoring affair, the Jags snag their 3rd win of the year & were led by Whitfield (116), Haynes (106) & Taranto (108); even with

Briggs (54) falling off a cliff, Jelly out injured & replaced by a disinterested TKelly (66), young Cadman (42) all struggling to fire, it was

enough to beat up Mt Beauty. As always Butters (117), Max (142) and even Graham (101) stood tall, but Maynard’s absence, filled

by Broad (85), Brad Hill (46), Boak dead & replaced by Steeley Greene (20) and a Viney donut saw them fall 47 points shy.

A spirited contest saw the Cockatoo’s (1138) hang on for another win Vs the Dungbeetles (1074) to move up to 5th place.

Holmes (134), Bowey (106), Jiath (132), Touk (102) and Langford (101) were superb for Gariwerd, picking up the slack for this surprising

team so far, even with Farrell dead (32), Chandler (52), Wicks (46), Tholstrup (12) & oop Clohesy (38) struggling in the ruck.

Dunsborough continue to build, albeit slowly. Sheezel (101) and Green (125) are always at the forefront of this mob, but having Mac

play oop (28), Garcia (40), Campbell (55) and Powell (63) barely contributing, this team needs a few good drafts.

good stuff @snoz ; congratulations to the Knobs on their first win of the season, could be the start of a new era. Cows are hampered by some egregious (yes, you will need to google it snoz) selection decisions. Feel sorry for who ever is our opponent when we manage to get that right.

@Len 's mob are the opposition this week - tenth v 13th. I think I can remember when these were top of the table clashes!

Glad we could show up this week.
Our decade long “rebuild” has almost commenced.
