Fitzy could you post the Venus Bay score please - you suggested it was in the 1200's? My estimate is that the Waikiks scored 1046 which seems to be a very popular score. This means you had a comfortable win in round one. Waikik scores: Harry Taylor 58, Troy Chaplin 93, Matt Maguire 109, Jarrad McVeigh 33 (oop, as a defender = 66*0.5) Sam Mitchell 101, Jack Ziebell 53, Daniel Hannebery 78, Sam Lonergan 58, Isaac Smith 71, Sam Jacobs 97, Tom Bellchambers 59, Mitch Robinson 75, Justin Westhoff 68, James Podsiadly 57, Aaron Edwards 36. By my calculations with the OOP Polkinghorne playing in my backline (he was an emergency)I reckon I got a 1318.

Chief, a small point of information. My understanding is that an Emergency's score only counts if there is a late withdrawal. From the ORFFL rules thread:"3 Emergencies can be selected. Emergencies must be selected in ONE line only. They come in if a player is a late withdrawal." This is as opposed to the two nominated Interchange players. Again from the ORFFL thread: "Playing sides will consist of 15 players. 4 Defenders, 4 Midfielders, 1 Ruck, 4 Forwards and 2 Interchange. "The Interchange players can be of any position. They score points too." In the case of you excellent round 1 score it is necessary to separate scores from Interchange and Emergency players. This assumes we use the ORFFL scoring system than rather invent one of our own. Good luck in the upcoming round, I think you may have a bit too much quality for the Waikik Incorrigible Mongrels.

I thought you could only have two interchange players and that their position (FWD/DEF/etc) was irrelevant. There are then three emergencies which have to be named for a specific line.
