Black Swamp (Round 4) In - McVeigh, Viney Out - Mayes, Newnes Bartel Geary Cutler McVeigh - Mayes JamesKelly Viney Bont Duckwood - Newnes Westhoff Barlow Puopolo BenBrown - Josh Bruce Sinclair - Masten (oop emg) Cotchin Grigg - no emg Co-Captain McVeigh debuts for Black Swamp with Mayes unluckily missing out while Viney returns for Newnes as the 29ers search for the best midfield mix. Masten will again bide his time with Murdoch narrowly missing out on a spot as emergency this week as we had 20 to choose from. We await the Avengers (@Len) arrival for the final match of our 3 game homestand with much anticipation.
RD 4: Chinchilla's team for their clash with Port Lincoln Power is as follows. DEF: Tuohy Adams Mackie Grundy (Impey) MID: JPK Armitage Griffen Caddy (K.Stevens) RUC: Naitanui FWD: Hall Higgins McLean Zorko (Harmes) I/C: Picken Montagna (Kerridge) OUT: Sexton Kerridge IN: Picken Mclean NEW: Toby McLean
Ironman insists on flying us in on game day, we've discussed how this might effect our preparation but when advised that the Black Widow would accompany the guys and perform as head cheerleader, well there are some things you just can't knock back and Scarlet Johansson is one of them. The Avengers team shall be: DEFENDER Matthew Boyd, Heath Shaw, Tom Sheridan, Garrick Ibbotson (Zachary Williams) MIDFIELDER Callan Ward, Scott Thompson, Adam Treloar, Edward CURNOW (Blake Acres) RUCK Shaun Hampson (Ivan Maric) FORWARD Eddie Betts, Dale Thomas, Jack Martin, Kurt Tippett (Chris Mayne) INTERCHANGE Marc Murphy, Andrew GAFF
@Len - you obviously have excellent Googling skills, we were trying to keep the airport a secret from the other teams http://airportguide.com/airport/Australia/New_South_Wales/Tenterfield-YTFD/runways.php I have updated the Black Swamp team thread now that we have been busted. Don't be surprised if the 29ers fans cause the runways a liitle bit of damage, so be prepared for a late diversion just to keep your mob on their toes.
Mt thirsty need changes, so here goes... Cloke and adcock make their debuts. suckling, adcock, baguley, birchall (smith) TMitchell, SMitchell, Boak, Motlop (Gibson) Lobbe JRiewoldt, Dixon, Stokes, cloke, (Petrie) Rischitelli, Goddard (brown)
my luck has run out this week. a 3 man backline, 4 mids only if hopper ends up playing and 3 emergencies in my team that are emergencies in their afl teams!
Neptune Island still in mourning over the loss of Bob. In - Haynes (E), Gregson, Lyons Out - Bob , Hill, Howe D - JJ, Eski, Rich , Laidler (Haynes) M - Sloane, Zaha, Prestia, Tyson (Kelly) R - Gawn F - Weller, Bell, Gregson, Lyons (Boyd) I/C - Ross, Bastinac (Hartung)
Just the one change at Drouin with O'Rourke out and Rosa in. D - Pittard, Docherty, Mackenzie, Savage (Atley) M - Dangerfield, Steven, Duncan, Shuey (Rosa) R - Mumford F - Walker, Walters, Pavlich, Palmer (Cunningham) I - Wright, Scully (Lennon)
Mole Creek are gearing up for their second home game, with some inflatable worms on top of the stand Fremantle anchor style and the crowd receiving free clappers in an attempt to create a bit of atmosphere. A few changes this week, with coach Minton-Connell looking to go 2-2 although rumours are swirling that the board were not expecting to be competitive early and are worried this form will endanger draft positioning. Out go underperforming Anthony Miles, the risky early draft pick many thought was in for a big season. Miles will run out for the Exton Eggs in the local league and try to find some form. Brandon Matera has also been omitted, a streaky player at the best of times it's thought maybe a few goals in the much weaker 2's will turn his early season woes around. IN: Miller, Bird OUT: Miles, Matera DEF: B.Smith, C. Sutcliffe, A.Saad, P.Seedsman (J.Aish) MID: G.Ablett, P.Hanley, P.Cripps, R.Lester (C.Ellis) RUC: S.Martin FWD: S.Gray, T.Miller, I.Heeney, J.Cripps (C.Curnow) INT: C.Bird, D.Kent (R.Harwood)
With the early draft and late byes this season and some coaches loading up on first and second year prospects I can foresee some teams being very undermanned by Round 11 or Round 12.
Fugitives Round 4 Team OUT: Parish IN: Hodge DEF: Macmillan Johnson Rampe Harbrow (Davis) MID: Pendlebury Shiel Jack Macrae (De Goey) RUC: Roughead FWD: Lynch Gunston Edwards Wells (Watts) I/C: McGlynn Hodge (Parish)
Disaster strikes the Virgins got caught up in traffic accident couldn't change Priddis to Hutchings and the changes i made this morning didn't register i presume i didn't hit the save button meaning same team as last week with three big donuts. Lesson learned.
Once again we've only had 8 team postings in this thread for Rd4. Now I'm not accusing anyone of playing ducks and drakes, but if you can take the time to change your team in tsLeagues, then please also take the time to post your team in this thread. The reason for this is so that no-one has to go trawling thru every team listed in Matchday just to find out who the hell the opposition is. It's a common courtesy thing and it really peeves me when I check the site after final teams on a Friday and make a note of who I'm up against only to find 2 hrs later that 4 changes have been made since I checked, and no notification of those changes, and straight away my enthusiasm for this League decreases I believe we need to change this mindset now, or maybe I need to change mine.....
Never tried it, on our last trip to Thailand @TerryinBangkok introduced me to Mekhong, just need to get an Aussie importer sorted
You ARE kidding.......around the world for 80 baht....5555555.....but nice to see you were looked after when you ventured here...
Score update from the paddock The home side leads 11/905 vs the visitors 10/753 The avengers will be kicking uphill in the latter stages but H Shaw Ward Treloar Sheridan and Ibbo are capable of big scores and will test the abilities Westhoff Viney BBrown and Barlow to keep Black Swamp in the contest.
