And then there were two, when there can be only one. I'm so excited I could punch someone! The inaugural post-season of the mighty ORFFL finishes up this weekend, but not before two heavyweights of fantasy football clash in a best-o-teh-best matchup to decide the premiership! Take a moment to imagine the elation for the winner! The bragging rights! The pure, unadulterated glory!

    To Valhalla and beyond!

SARAH ISLAND SAVAGES(1340) vsWARBURTON WANDERERS (1257)

I'm almost literally too excited for words. It's not easy to communicate anything close to analytically or objectively when all you can think about is NicNat (114) smashing it up in the ruckus later tonight . But, I shall try...

...this match pits Warburton, a club with all the trophies so far - pre-season and minor, against Sarah Island, a club that has scored more points than any other. If that isn't enough to pique prospective interest, the last time theses two side met in R7, it was decided by just 3 points after the siren on a Monday night! (In one of life's little 'coincidences' Carlton and St. Kilda play each other again this weekend).

The finals are where reputations are made, and the big game players for both sides have left their mark over the past two weeks. For Warburton it's been Murphy (Finals avg. 143), Kruezer (110), Griffen (142), Hill (134), Hale (121), Sylvia (116) and Chornes (108). At Sarah Island Goddard (119), NicNat (129), Mundy (123), JPK (122), Simpson (113), Bundy (101), Waite (123) and Minson (109) have led the way.

At the selection table, some handy, and timely, inclusions for both sides. Sarah Island have the opportunity to recall Sloane (avg. 107) and Robinson (90), but lose Kepler (71) to a mysterious concussion. Warburton see Hartlett (91) put his proverbial hand up, along with Scully (79), Chornes (87) and Maxwell (72) to replace the injured Gilbert (73).

GL to all, should be riveting. Before I go, here's what we're all playing for.
