YEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!! YES! WE! CAN!!!!!! WE SHANE TUCKIN' DID IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The Sarah Island Savages have won the 2012 ORFFL Premiership. Like that scene from the end of the 2nd Batman where the little kid asks Commissioner Gordon 'Why are we chasing him?'
'Because YOU have to, son. Because you have to.'

SARAH ISLAND SAVAGES1287 DefWARBURTON WANDERERS1261
Figured this review was going to be hard to write either way going into this weekend, needless to say that I'm not going to feel as bad doing a poor job given that I've won; Sarah Island defeating Warburton by 26 points in the inaugural 2012 ORFFL Grand Final.
'Twas a gripping and at time spiteful encounter with Wally's targeting Lachie (4) from the outset, knocking him out; a flow on effect being that FWD Tory Dickson (41) became afraid of going near ball or opposition. Sarah Island's famous Jar claimed early victims in retaliation; the invisible squeeze being applied to Lewis (56) and Hale (71) on Friday night.
The Wanderers picked up 3 tons on Saturday night with Hill (100, f.avg. 99), MJ (129, f.avg. 85) and Sylvia (114, f.avg. 115) saluting, but Sarah island were able to match with century scoring from Taylor (122, .avg. 93),Mundy (132, finals avg. 126),NicNat (109, f.avg. 122)Mayne (108, f.avg. 84), and JPK (105, f.avg. 116).
Going into the final day some 70-odd points in front, the Savages had the Wanderers in the Jar, they just needed to get the lid on and screw it shut. Enter Waite (119, f.avg. 121), rocking like a hurricane and a bunch of lesser lights not sucking too hard to hold on. Griffen (106, f.avg. 129), Player of the ORFFL Finals, made a late charge but couldn't muster enough to get his boys up.
Commiserations to Warburton. A worthy opponent who I shall see next year and beyond.
To mine own players; you performed adequately to expectations. And I loves youse.
Big ups to Assistant to the GM, ChiefRussell, Sarah Island's Second Savage. Best Assistant to the GM in fantasy football.
Shout out to TerryinBangers. A constant thorn in my side, something critical to every successful fantasy organisation.

David Mundy Medalist: David Mundy

So it's party time down at Sarah Island, why not celebrate this momentous 1st year in the ORFFL? What did you love? What did you hate? Who won your B&F, and who will you be looking to bring in next year (fingers crossed)?
All feedback goes to making this game better. Thanks to all participants for making this the fun that it is, hope to see you all in January if not over the coming weeks.
Which reminds me TRADE PERIOD IS NOW OPEN, with us until the end of the AFL GF. You do not have to trade, but can if you so choose to and can find someone willing to do it with you.
Oh and a little something to dream on....
