For a while now I've written at length at on the favours, foibles and fortunes of all the teams in the grand fantasy football competition of ORFFL. Partly out of duty, mostly out of love, I've dissected this game and those playing it to give you all something to read on a frighteningly irregular basis. Not this week. This week is for me.

Sadly, the code that turns a link (tooserious.net) into a link, is what breaks embedding, as it turns the embedded link into a link and breaks the embed.

I'll have a play with is and see if I can turn that off.

Mentioned it in the other thread, you can change any non-Thurs players tomorrow if you wish. Same as next week.

      So, after game 1:

      Pointers.

      Wines: 96

      Savages

JPK: 143 (Pulls a season high)
Titchell: 105 (Though he's an emergency).

You running the donut risk to bring him in? Surely you do!

Tragic day for the Walsh family, AFC and the AFL as a whole.

Unfortunately I do need to ask however, what happens with ADE/GEE players in ORFFL this week now that the game has been cancelled?

No idea what SC will be doing...

Difficult to cancel the round once a game had already been played.

I would lean towards Adelaide/Geelong players being unavailable but otherwise matches would proceed. Hurts me quite a bit though.

Yeah I have Laird, Thompson and Motlop so that's around 300 points going by averages.

yeah, without any other structure in place, I think they just become donuts

Not so sure about ORFFL but I reckon SC will just allocate the player averages.. if so I might hold onto Rory for another week.

Could just have no OOP penalty this week? Although that could be a bit unfair in it's own right.

Most of my Crows/Cats are injured anyway so doesn't affect me greatly.

If SC does allocate averages I'd assume it would only include players named yesterday

      Hey all. Really sad news.

I'm towards giving every team 2 points in the ORFFL. And I say that being in a match I look forward to every year and being able to cover my only Geelong out.

What does everyone else think though?

having already traded Sloane out in an un-reversable trade, I'd be furious if they changed the rules to allow that! :D

It's unprecedented. I'm happy to concur with the majority. I don't mind either way.
