HUMPTY DOO HAMMERHEADS (14th, 1121) vs TARWIN LOWER PIGS (13th, 1213)
Neither of these clubs will play finals this year, but by no means is this a nothing match. Humpty Doo continue their revolving door selection policy; Bailey, Silvagni and McKay in, Smedts, Hooker, Goldsack and Bolton out. The last one may hurt in particular. The travelling TLP on the other hand have Patton, Porp and Karnezis all unavailable for match day duties in the front half. Which means they may have to rely on Stephen Milne. Embley also returns from a lengthy stint on the sidelines.

PURNULULU BUNGLE RANGERS (16th, 1084) vs POOWONG POTOROOS (6th, 1235)
After a rather difficult last month the Potoroos get some respite before heading into the finals. The 16th placed Rangers are still without lone ruck Ryder, this week they find Liberatore also in no condition to take the fantasy field. Poowong meanwhile go into the last round relatively unscathed with the Sherm returning to press his case.

BONNIE DOON BANDITS (15th, 1090) vs QUEENSTOWN QUOLLS (9th, 1180)
Queenstown need to win to get into the finals. Without Swan! Which could make it quite tough. Still hes only one man, and Hibberd is another, and could be an inclusion after a sizeable layoff. Hosts Bonnie Doon see Hargrave return to replace Drummond in DEF, and revel in the news that Tippett should be right to return next year.

TORRUMBARRY THUNDA (8th, 1235) vs MERTON MEERKATS (5th, 1249)
Torrumbarry need to win to get into the finals. Without Franklin! Or Greg! Against a impressive Merton outfit that are largely unhindered by injury. Glass and Horsley both return from absences, but it may be tough to displace some favourites of the Merton coach.

MILIKAPATI SNAKES (1st, 1301) vs WARBURTON WANDERERS (3rd, 1249)
Match of the round. 1st vs 3rd. It rarely gets better than this. And yet Milikapati would appear to either be in pre-finals "rest" mode, or theyre suffering a trove of injuries at the worst possible time; 1st choice ruck Z. Smith, M2 Kelly, rookie revelation Greene, along with Day and Adams from their FWD depth. Warburton in have a relatively clean bill of health and have come off two gutsy wins.

WOY WOY WIZARDS (18th, 1198) vs SARAH ISLAND SAVAGES (4th, 1347)
Sizeable difference between these two sides in both ladder position and relative ages of lists. On the selection front the Savages welcome back Robinson, Adams and Chaplin to the team, losing Frawley from DEF to a quad injury. Home team Woy Woy find Fletcher returning from writing his memoirs and Didak returning from not being able to write his own. Have a funny feeling Montagna will go large this weekend.

MALLACOOTA MAGICIANS (2nd, 1271) vs COULTA COULDABEENS (10th, 1127)
Coulta need to overcome the form team of the ORFFL to make the finals. Which I personally think will be rather difficult. Walker comes back into a FWD line that has been decimated by injury in the back half of the season, while for flag fancies Mallacoota, Stanley and Crameri return to a FWD line that realistically doesnt have enough spots for all its talent. Unless they throw Bennell or Fyfe into the middle.

POPANYINNING PYRITE (11th, 1213) vs GLENROWAN GUNSLINGERS (17th, 1143)
Slim finals hopes remain for the Yinning, they need results to go their way, and to seriously beat up on a beleaguered Glenrowan side, which is definitely possible given their outs. Savage, Dahlhaus, Morton all missing for the Gunslingers. That last one though is probably a blessing in disguise. No major injury concerns for the Pyrite, for them the challenge is largely mental.

JIMCUMBILLY JACKRABBITS (12th, 1223) vs MOUNT BUGGERY DISAPPOINTMENTS (7th, 1208)
Never have I seen so many injuries befall a team in the space of a week (well maybe I have, but I dont keep tight records of that sort of thing). Im writing of Mount Buggery, who perhaps needing a win to stay in the 8, see Winderlich, Wingard, Ward, Butler and Sheppard all out. Jimcumbilly, already out of the premiership race, fair only slightly better with McPharlin and Howlett missing though suspension and injury respectively.
