    MOUNT BUGGERY DISAPPOINTMENTS1013 def byPOPANYINNING PYRITE1200

    Where to begin? Mount Buggery were disappointing, no doubt, and Popanyinning were impressive given that they played a man down. The fantastic Sydney duo Reid and Richards were heroic once again (too much?), and their 5-deep midfield (Boyd, Swallow, Shuey, Rich, Hayes) all tonned up severely.

    However, the big question to come out of the match is thus; are Mount Buggery tanking? The case for:

    - Two weeks in a row the chief has selected Sam Butler to play when he hasn't been named. In this round he could have gone with Hardingham, but didn't even name him as an emergency.

    - Walesy has hand-picked a swag of Melbourne players. It's cultural.

    - If Walesy succeeds in his plan he could pick James Magner in the first round of the mid-season draft. Another Melbourne player.

    - The name 'Disappointments' is suspicious.

    I think I've presented both evidence and motive there. Make up your own minds.

    QUEENSTOWN QUOLLS1218 Def byCOULTA COULDABEENS1332

    A powerhouse performance from the Couldandids over the weekend, taking the cake over a still ginger Quolls. Queenstown will be jumping for joy at the return of one Jonathan Brown to a forward line that has resembled a sick bay at times. Watson, Jones and Swan doing enough to reach triple figures.

    On the other side of the trench, Coulta; a side that is fast becoming known as the most underrated in the ORFFL. Brother Of MegaHead (avg. 112), an inspired choice from Bearfly in the 13th round, and Reilly (avg. 109); Rain Man-like. To top it off, The Sargent also tonned up as a pick in the 25th round.

    WARBURTON WANDERERS1287 DefTARWIN LOWER PIGS1261

    32 points. That's a close one in ORFFL language. Ultimately, the Wanderers continued on their merry way. Warburton had five players (Murphy, Kruezer, Lewis, Griffen, Cornes) hit triple digits, THE CHAD (avg. 113) winding back the clock Woy Woy style. The Wanderers ability to continue to get players up for selection speaks volumes for their medical team.

    Tarwin Lower put in a courageous effort of Essendonian proportions, I thought. 6 players (Pendles, McIntosh, Carrots, NRoo, Bastinac, Giles) , and Bastinac in particular having a day out against GWS with 151 (avg, 112). The vests cost the Pigs dearly though (again), Embley and ROK both donning the red and combining for 40 points.

    HUMPTY DOO HAMMERHEADS1198 Def byPOOWONG POTOROOS1283

    The match of the round didn't disappoint, but it did blow out in the end, the Potoroos running away with the choccies to the tune of 85 points. Gazza (avg. 142) continued to do what he does, which is DOMINATE THEM! The top score though went to another man well weathered from the glare of the public spotlight, Big Beefy Hawkins chowing down on 159 points of the good stuff.

    For Humpty Doo, Judd (150), Goodes (115) and Jeffy (101) hit the high notes and Sauce (90), Wells (97), Kerr (93) and McKay (99) provided great accompaniment. It couldn't though cover the smelly performances of Stiffy (54) and Sniffer (41), with Bolton (49) and Ottens (23) poor too. With two losses on the board, I wonder if the Hammerheads are ruing their decision to part with AJ?

    BONNIE DOON BANDITS1164 Def byMALLACOOTA MAGICIANS1409

    A demolition that sees Mallacoota pulling a swifty on Bonnie Doon to the tale of 242, and The Kash Man pulling a swifty on yours truly, pipping me by 5 points to take pole position after two wounds. At the moment, it's the Magicians unheralded players at the scoring vanguard; Rance (avg. 118), HotCross (avg. 116) and Dempsey (avg. 105) leading the charge.

    Fez simply needs to get 15 fit and able players on the park at the same time. Able does not include Ryan Clangermakers (avg. 32) and Israel (avg. 25), but it may have to at least until the mid-season break. On the plus side, Mitchell is going at 140 pace, and the unlikely pairing of Tippett (av.g 116) and Masten (avg. 102) giving detractors the finger.

    SARAH ISLANDS SAVAGES1404 DefMILIKAPATI SNAKES1235

    The bitter chill and biting winds of Sarah Island and its natives provided a cruel shock to Milikapati, the Savages dining out on a 169 point victory. Hornsy's Jar claiming another victim despite Deledio (145), Anthony (125) and Gaff's (112) attempts to break the glass. I could go on about the DOMINANCE of my own, but I'd much rather talk shoop.

    <img alt='' width='480px' src='http://img24.imageshack.us/img24/9615/postmatchvictoryovercas.jpg[/img];
    Hornsy releasing the Snake from one vessel into another in ritualistic fashion.

    PURNULULU BUNGLE RANGERS 1058 Def byMERTON MEERKATS1141

    Turns out I forgot to put in Davis' score last night, and my prediction of a close finish was folly because of it, Merton winning comfortably by 83. Cotchin (avg. 114) and Scooter (avg. 130) starring in the early part of the season, Dangles Nahas (avg. 35) on the other hand, a shambles.

    On the other side of the ledger, the PBR came crashing down to earth this week, from 1450 to 1058. That is a Curb Your Enthusiasm sized Standard deviation. Tino is getting great scoring out of Ryder (avg. 132), Selwood (avg. 114), Trengove (avg. 108), and Walker (avg. 104), but his depth is being surely tested; Melksham (avg. 54) and Lynch (avg. 39). Missing Ballantyne at the moment, and also Harper, who has done something to piss his coach off and not get selected.

    GLENROWAN GUNSLINGERS1168 Def byJIMCUMBILLY JACKRABBITS1377

    Big Gary Turtleton finds the form tap and turns it lefty loosey, defeating Glenrowan by 209 points. 7 players tonned up for Jimcubilly (NDS, LBerger, Fisher, Droopy, MoreFrees, Betts, JPod), and everyone's pre-pre-season fancy BAMed it up a notch. The Jackrabbits are looking as ominous as Sarah Island skies at the minute.

    Glenrowan has a few problems it needs to solve at the moment, most pressing the need to get Sers Mumford, Bock and Ziebell playing in sky blue soon. Riolie, Hurn, Dahlhaus and Bartel can't do it all themselves. Although Jimmy gave it an Abrtel effort today.

    <img alt='' width='480px' src='http://img845.imageshack.us/img845/7859/wowovstt.jpg[/img];
    WOY WOY WIZARDS1360DefTORRUMBARRY THUNDA 1054

    Torrumbarry stepped into the time machine over the weekend and came out the other side 314 points in arrears. Woy Woy play 2010 fantasy football better than anyone Sandi (149) and Chappy (121) starring. If they can get Hodge into this line-up and enough games at home, the Wizards could be a serious force in the ORFFL.

    The story at of the Thunda change sheds was a simple one; injuries cost them in the form of Hille (15) and Douglas (4). That's ugly. Nuff said. I think they'll put this one behind them and move on to next week.

    P.S JDog says the Guerra 50m to SJ goal was the moment that broke the game, Lucas. Forgot to write that earlier, but he wanted me to put that in.
