Gentlemen, We currently have a structured finals arrangement, where 1st plays 8th, 2nd plays 7th, and so on. It has been proposed that we revert to an unstructured finals arrangement, where 1st selects whichever team they'd like to play, then 2nd, and so on. This poll is to outline which way we'd like to go for the future. So make your voice heard (or your vote counted, or whatever!)
We'll keep things simple for now, where the unstructured option requires the top four teams to select from the next four teams. (ie 1st selects from 5th-to-8th). The alternate is that 1st can select any team they like (2nd-through-8th) then the next highest remaining team (nominally 2nd, but possibly 3rd) selects from the remaining teams (does everyone follow?). If coaches think that complete freedom is best, then we'll go that way - I just didn't want to over-complicate the poll. This can be decided later.
Complete freedom is the way to go. The team that finishes 1st should be able to choose any team from the top 8 as their opponent - even if that happens to be the team that finished 2nd
