    G'day all,

Was just wanting peoples opinions on who i should take as my other premium mid.
Can afford anyone from NDS down, currently have Marc Murphy but am tossing up other options such as Priddis, Rockliff, Mitchell and even Selwood. What do you guys think? Who is more likely to net me the most points come seasons end(keeping in mind factors such as injury history, suspensions etc). Obviously all speculation on who could do what but thought i would come here and ask the good folk of my predicament?

    Thanks everyone!

I had Murphy but downgraded to Redden after his pre season and upgraded the cash for Sideclacker.

    I'd keep Murphy personally.

Who else do you have in your mids?

I'd have Selwood. At his price I think he is a lock. I think he'll be top 5 for the year.

I'd have Rocklobster 2nd pick of those you mentioned. He was on fire towards end of last year. Played 20 games last year, averaging 125 in his last 11 games. Hoping he can continue the trend. He also had some big (r3 163, r23 179) scores, which gives you another Captain choice.

NDS would seem to be a good POD to most other people according to the RMT Megathread. Seems most people are going for Murphy instead of him.

Everyone is a year older - good for the lobster, no so good for NDS. However, Boyd and Thomson still go alright for their ages.

I started Pendlebury and Swan last year and had no regrets at season's end.

Can't go wrong with any of those guys you mentioned, though I'd probably avoid Mitchell at this point. He's great, but probably won't score as well as the others in my opinion.

I'd personally pick Selwood, I reckon he is way underpriced. Rockliff would be great too, he plays for a weak team, but he scored big last year regardless and might go even better this year. He'll also be a great POD from all the guys who have Selwood and Murphy locked in.

NDS starts against Port Adelaide, Gold Coast, Western Bulldogs.

I'm thinking of giving him the C.

Mitchell if you want a POD. Everyone avoids him but he keeps knocking out the scores game-in, game-out.

If you're looking for consistency, then you can't go wrong with Murphy. Only scored under 100 3 times last year. Same story with Priddis, but Murphy has the better history of doing it. NDS, Selwood and Rocklobster have the higher score ceilings, but I'd wait on seeing if Rocklobster starts attracting a weekly tag or not before committing. I like the idea of Priddis and Mitchell as PODs this year. As others have said, you can't go wrong with any of them.

Priddis is my POD, didn't have him last year and he killed me in the leagues plus he looked very good last Saturday night in a losing team.

Who would you go with for a M4?

I think I'm going to go with a 4-0-4 this season in the mids.

At the moment, I have: Pendlebury, Ablett, Murphy and Mitchell

The first 3 are a lock for me, though Mitchell I still am a little open minded. Who would you go out of these guys for M4?

    Mitchell, Priddis, Selwood, Thompson, Boyd?

I also feel safer going one of the above, over Rockcliff or Swallow for some reason.

At the moment, it's Mitchell for me for that 4th spot.

Thanks, and probably not a bad bit of advice. Last season I found myself chasing Boyd for a few weeks, lol.

My other option is to restructure the rest of my side to try and save money in other areas and turn Mitchell into NDS, but I don't think it's worth the readjustment as I think some of the other choices can be just as good as NDS like Boyd and Mitchell.

    Thanks again guys.

    Got $1,238,200 to fill M3 and M4.

Got Pendles and Ablett as my two locks.

Can decide which other premiums to take.

Thinking Boyd and Selwood is probably the best combo.

Any possibilities that I am missing?
