GIT Remaining Cap: $154,500 DEF: B Goddard, B Deledio, H Shaw, G Broughton, B Lake, B Ellis, T Bugg, A Tomlinson, L Spurr MID: G Ablett, M Murphy, M Boyd, J Selwood, D Shiel, T Ledger, C Smith, J Magner RUCK: S Mumford, J Redden, J Giles, O Stephenson FWD: L Franklin, N Fyfe, D Martin, S Sidebottom, J Porplyzia, D Smith, D Pfeiffer, B Smedts, A Kennedy This team was put together with extensive research and has been the highest rated amongst other avid SC mates, and even the maestro himself; Jock Reynolds. Have a geeze and tell us what you think lads. Pros: - Plenty of cash for upgrades - Avoided Pendles/Swan/Scotland/Cox. All these players provide perfect upgrades for later in the season - 1-0-3 Rucks: Very popular and super viable - Strong GnR Strategy, but some safe Midpricers (Lake/Porps) and bit of a smokey (Sidebum) - Well thought out rookies with a swing between DEF and FWD. Cons: - ... The name?? All these things combine to make a massively high scoring unit, with plenty of room to grow.
Honestly don't see Pfeiffer as a well researched selection for SC - his poor decision making on-field results in poor disposal efficiency, and this was shown up throughout the NAB matches he played in. Spurr iirc still needs to be elevated from the rookie list. Otherwise, not too shabby.
How can a Seaworld side have strong GnR? Agree with Bear on Puffer. A likely vest candidate as well. All the cookie cutter teams have Billie. Does your research indicate he is in Geelong's best 22. Cash should be on the park - it does not get you any SC points sitting in the bank. You might be surprised how many teams Sidebottom is smoking in. Otherwise okay.

Rookies aren't very strong. Plenty of risks for who will actually get a game. Sidebum won't be in the top 10 forwards at the end of the year. Premiums are good.
That said, there are not too many criticisms about the team. Only time will tell whether 3 ruck rookies is the right way to go. I imagine there will be minor adjustments once teams are announced.
Rated by who ? Not a bad team 8/10 weak rucks no swan pendles or cox perfect upgrade targets ? Risky but might just come off
Not a huge fan of the Seaworld combination either. An awful lot of surgery has been performed on those two. OK side but as the Desert Fox said above not having Pendles is gonna hurt.
