Otten, Krakouer and a huge punt on Vickery as R2-could change of course.

1 for me, but it's my own POD. BTW, Otten is actually less than 200k so doesn't strictly match with the thread title. If Otten is counted, then I have 2 of these guys.

Its a good point and definitly a risky area! Even guys a little bit more expensive like Jetta/Dangermouse/Zaharakis/Higgins/Hurley are a big risk in my opinion!
I'm going with a typical GNR stratergy so I have tried to avoid all the above...But I have Krak and Otten in at this stage, I think they are too good value not to put in!

I initially had Petrie too, but Its just too hard to justify having a guy worth 200K sitting on your bench that will miss 2 of the first the 3 games...If he does really well in rounds 2 and 4 I would consider bringing him in.

Have one. Toying with more. trying to get that optimal balance of GnR and midpricers.

Yarran is tempting me. Am I being hoodwinked!?

Kraks is certainly starting to firm into my team.

Unless Dick gets in there first

Personally I wasn't that impressed with the 2 "mini-nab-games" I saw of him, but have heard a lot of hype since.

I'm going to there practice match against Geelong tomorrow, I'll let you know how he goes.

    Technically, Otten is cheaper. :p

Outside of him though, Krakouer is where I'm at.

Only Ottens and Kraks, next cheapest is Jolly. 200-350k range is too risky imo.

That would be great mate. Am really interested having not seen much of him yet. May not end up being a POD around these parts but probably will be in most of my leagues!

I've got Krak and Otten at the moment too.
I'm actually considering putting Matty Jaensch (297k) in my forward line.
No real reason unless you count sentiment, I used to play footy with his dad back in the day. Just hoping he plays a blinder this weekend to be able to justify it though.

For me its Fraser, kraks and knights.

Risky i know with fraser and knights but if they can play 6 early games and average 80 they would have served there purpose.

Playing safe in this game will not bring home the bacon.

At the moment I have only got Knights, only because he has shown he can score well in the past. But I'm going to the footy tonight and will see how Kraks goes with a few more players back in the team. So it's one or the other.

Yeah, I know what you mean!

I'm also really keen to see how Varcoe/Johnson/Stokes go, see who gets most time in the middle.

I've currently got Otten and Krak. Have had Knights in earlier though. Got burnt with Hentchel a couple of years back as a returning Crow at a low price. So just thought I would go with Prestia and Krak, to reduce injury worries. Unfortunately I am having trouble spending money in my fwd line, not saving it.
