RooMajak went in as underdogs but the match was in the balance on Saturday evening due to an astute trade of Shenton to Stevie J by Rooboy18 and a superb 113pts by Matthew Wright for the same side. The Megrems were under the pump and to Phil's horror Murphy pulled a heart-string (sorry Hamstring) prior to running out on Sunday, leaving the team undermanned by one unless Phil pulled the trade lever and put in a call to GWS, CARL, WCE, STK, NM or MELB premium mids as a replacement via a sideways trade.

Boomer and NDS would have been strong candidates or Phil could have swung Simpson forward and looked at Dunn in defence, instead Phil decided to play the long game which put Rooboy18 into a commanding position. Mumford and Ward then pumped out great scores for the Megrems, which meant that Hurn was required to reach a double figure score to take the win and he duly achieved this by quarter time leaving the Roo Majak supporters in euphoria.

Congrats to both coaches for their sterling efforts in this comp (includign outlasting 235 other teams) but their can only be one winner - Roo Majak.
