    Following are Top 10 rookies at the end of R1.

    Super Coach

    30. R. Tarrant 119
    32. Curnow 118
    42. Pedersen 114
    43. Tapscott 113
    51. Lower 110
    62. Krakouer 102
    75. McKernan 98
    102. Heppell 90
    144. Darling 80
    166. Savage 75

    Dream Team

    31. Curnow 107
    33. R. Tarrant 106
    50. Lower 98
    51. Pedersen 97
    55. Krakouer 96
    98. McKernan 83
    107. Tapscott 80
    129. Heppell 76
    151. Libratore 72
    155. Irons 71

    The big losers in DT were Tapscott (43 vs. 107) and Darling. Darling came in at 193 in DT with a score of 64, behind Savage (70), Bewick (68), Lester (65) and Otten (64).

    Will be interesting to compare these bolters after next round when the GC players are in the mix.

    Thanks Terry, was about to collate something similar myself.

    Can't wait till 2013 tbh. These new teams throw such a big spanner into the works.

    Does anyone know how Batchelor for Richmond went? Is he a keeper or not really?

    Brocky, a "keeper" may not be the best wording. Keeper in fantasy team terms means someone you want to keep and not trade at all.

    Is he a good rookie/cashcow (I presume that's what you meant?) or should you trade him? If he keeps his score level he'd make you $150k (I think) so not the worse one out there

    Interested in how Atley goes. May have to burn a trade switching him for someone who's going moo.

    Had 7 of the top 10, with Pederson and Savage being the ones that may not have been in everyone's teams.
    Liberatore also only 2 points off the top 10 with 73.

    If Curnow backs up his performance, and Atley spuds it up again, I'll probably use my first trade there next week. Otherwise pretty happy with my rookie selections so far.

    Obviously did some homework Locky and it pays off. A question mark over JS for Savage. Be interesting to see how many out of top 10 you still have after GC play.

    Most people took out Tarrant, trying to squeeze out that extra $ to put elsewhere.

    I will think long and hard about it. Had him in for weeks so I liked him as a player, just wasn't sure on JS with Grima coming back and also wasn't sure how he would score. Extra year in the system had really helped him. His BE would be pretty hard to resist.

    Good thing is North have a bye round 3, so I will get to look at my 3 GC def rookies for 2 weeks instead of 1 to decide whether I will shunt one for Robbie Tarrant when he is on the bubble at the start of round 4.

    Atley -> Curnow
    GC rookie -> Tarrant

    could be my trades next round. I'm not jumping the gun on anyone else just yet - even Yarran.

    North having the bye round 3 is very handy re the Tarrant situation!

    I hope Atley doesn't do that well actually, as then my decision will be much easier!

    I didn't have Tarrant, compared to Ottens...he was only $900 cheaper and less JS

    Savage should play at least another game, his performance warrants it. There's a couple of others in that back line that need to be sent packing (and really, Hale, a footballer?).

    Guys keep in mind McKernan may have to compete for a place with Tippet when he comes back. I did not see the game but I understand Pederson was rucking - this will not continue.

    Robbie Tarrant was my one big regret from my opening squad. Those injuries just made me overly careful.

    There was some talk of a niggle after the game, but then again he may just have been spent, helluva opening round.

    Will be watching closely....Otten has been nudged for a 'lift'

    @funkyc

    At least we have until the end of round 3 to view his place within the team before he's on the bubble.
