Just seeing if anyone has any mail on which rookies are likely to get upgraded for which teams? Any that are likely to get playing time?
Daniel Archer will be elevated for the Saints for Michael Gardiner who was placed on the LTI list recently.
Yup and here is the Lower one in black and white (well, purple) on the freo page.
The Fremantle Dockers have made application to the AFL for South Australian recruit Nick Lower to be the club’s nominated rookie for the 2011 season.
http://www.fremantlefc.com.au/news/newsarticle/tabid/7009/newsid/109300/default.aspx
Crameri for the bombers for sure.....space already made by Anthony Long.... Given his price, he's probably not what you're looking for.
Riley Milne for Hawthorn
Riley Milne has been selected as the Club's nominated rookie for season 2011. The mobile tall defender impressed over the first two matches of the pre-season and will now be available for senior selection.
http://www.hawthornfc.com.au/news/newsarticle/tabid/4742/newsid/109334/default.aspx
http://www.heraldsun.com.au/sport/a...r-to-senior-list/story-e6frf9jf-1226021906975 Richmond - Brad Miller Melbourne - Michael Newton Carlton - Ed Curnow Hawthorn - Riiley Milne (as above) Fremantle - Nick Lower (as above) Richmond has chosen not to fill the final spot on its rookie list, while the Hawks chose to add Paul Johnston.
Riley Milne is an interesting one...Its hard to picture him in a forward line with Buddy, Roughead and Hale. Plus now you would expect Paul Johnson is a walk up start if any of Hale/renouf/bailey get injured...
Thoughts on Curnow? Tore it up for Box Hill in the VFL before going down with a season ending injury, from memory, in 2010. They said his season was so good had he not injured himself he probably would have won the JJ Liston. Now finds himself at Carlton and on to the senior list. Worth a shot now or another possible downgrade target?

Not sure where he fits in at Carlton, was surprised he didn't play in the NAB, maybe injured?
I was under the impression that he's played all NAB games? But if not he certainly played all the Challenge matches. Any other news on McCauley from Brissie and whether or not he will be in line for elevation?

I haven't seen anything about him in any of NAB challenge games.

I hope Milne is a better player than Paul Johnson. As a Dees supporter, I know that an oak tree planted in the middle of the MCG would have greater mobility than Johnson.
Yes Curnow got 42 SC points against the pies, only 5 disposals all handballs with 80% efficiency. Not bad if he kept that up for a full game.
Carlton - Levi Casboult http://www.carltonfc.com.au/news/newsarticle/tabid/4311/newsid/109484/default.aspx
Levi Casboult has been elevated to Carlton’s senior list, replacing Luke Mitchell, who has been included on the long-term injury list.

Ed Curnow played 3 preseason games according to Freako newsletter These are DT stats though Ave:59 Scores of 74, 50, 52
