This was raised as a potential change for discussion I don't mind how we are setup, but also wouldn't mind a little extra cattle to play with So the choices are simple, stay as we are or move to the setup below, will keep the poll open a week or until we have 10 votes, whichever is earliest Proposed is 12 onfield (currently 8) plus the same single floating reserve setup, I get it opens the loophole which I think most teams have used, but really that's part of the strategy and why we also have kept the rolling lockout. . We currently have a full roster of 15, proposed is 20 so essentially would be an extra 4 onfield, one extra on the bench. We currently run 2 Def, 3 Mid, 1 Ruck and 2 Fwd and would move to 3 Def, 5 Mid, 1 Ruck and 3 Fwds Doing it this way would not have a negative impact on the strategies used to compile our current squads. Should we go ahead with the change there will be no forced delist prior to this draft, and we will draft to 20 Future drafts we would retire/delist/trade to 14 and draft 6 minimum per team. Majority decides
Pretty sure tags don't work but will give it a shot 2 votes out of 12, would like to get one side to a majority, poll ends in just over 4 hours. @Tylo @dmandrews @TerryinBangkok @JoshyC @Jason @bgt2110 @TheTassieHawk @HOLKY Apathy will result in no change
Sorry, I didn’t get an alert...weird. But my vote is to increase. The poll is closed so I can’t click.
That leaves us at 5/4 and hardly mandated to change though a majority of legit votes is a majority I guess
Will set this up in by Sunday, looking to draft after the 2nd week of the Marsh Cup. need to 2020 the lists and set draft order etc, will also open a dump thread for any who wish to delist
@Len any chance the draft can start late in the week or the next one ? My reason for asking is ORFFW related as we have the ORFFW midsession draft on early that week and a very short timeframe so will be needing to chase up people if picks not taken quickly and I do not want to be holding up the Addicts draft.
We are mostly quick picks and only drafting 50 odd so starting Wednesday evening should give us plenty of time
You were going to put a time limit on the draft this year @Len after last years took days to complete...is that still the case?
We only had two hold us up last time from memory, and I believe I have better ctc details now so should be fine as is, just need people to be responsible, 12 picks a day on average and we are done well in time
