Does the dual partial lockout in round 1 present any other captain switch-a-roo chances ?? I assume we are still able to do it ?
There are already threads in this forum specifically answering this exact question. Take a moment to browse.
Searched for "Lockout" "Partial Lockout" "Round 1" "Round 1 Lockout" nor could I see anything on the first 5 pages so I made this thread. Link ?
I think the best one is a donor thread... Become a donor, you get badges and shit, but also access to the best dope
Ah, yes it is a Donor thread. http://tooserious.net/forum/donors-only-group1/donors-forum1/exploiting-the-round-1-dual-partial-lockouts-thread1508 You need a non-playing option for R1 for it to work now because it is not possible to "forget" to select a captain. Your highest paid player is made your captain once you make your 30th team selection. You can chance the captaincy, but you can't ever have no captain.
Yes. After first partial lockout, GWS and Sydney players are locked and can no longer be added to your team. After second partial lockout, Richmond and Carlton players are locked and can no longer be added to your team. Unlimited trades remain until full lockout, next Friday evening.
@scottish Yeah thats my understanding. One unlikely scenario is that you have a GWS player who you declare as an emergency, and they score big. You would then have the option of naming a non starting player next week thereby having your emergency players score included. Not sure if I am making sense here. Anyway; the risk with this ploy is the you aren't starting with a full playing squad, thereby potentially delaying your cash cow timelines. From what I can see on other threads, a few TS'ers are keeping Lachie Neale for this purpose.
You sure Thunda? If so it gives me a little more time, I just don't want to mess up my cash league with people who don't pay etc

A good score means you can have a non playing rookie on the field at lock out. Neale, Yagmoor and Boumann might fit this bill. Interesting strategy given you may have to miss a rookie Cash Cow to keep a non player on the field. Anyone else got any thoughts ?
