They went with songs to the battle, they were young.
Straight of limb, true of eyes, steady and aglow.
They were staunch to the end against odds uncounted,
They fell with their faces to the foe. They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
    We will remember them.
    Lest We Forget
Round 12 conjures thoughts of mateship, winning against the odds and just bloody hard work in a hostile environment.
Game On... time to start getting the ground ready for the match... first the goalposts

Let us not forget they were ANZACS. /Portals/0/User%20Images/Kokoda.jpg Personally I prefer 'trail', but not fussed. Don't know how much it means to Len, who I think was born there, but I used to catch river prawns in streams just like that, always surrounded by picaninnies frolicking and going starkers.

Indeed, many many yabbies caught using a peice of rotting meat in the toes of a stocking :)

If the AFL has its way, next thing you know they'll be taking asbestos out of chips and mercury out of sharks.

First game after the mid-season break and the Devils played two men short. This round against Darraweit the Devils will field a 15 man side (hopefully) with Alipate Carlile playing OOP in the ruck against Tyrone Vickery who is also OOP. Four ins for the Devils, all defenders including two that were late outs last week in Vlastuin and Spurr, two midfielders out. Cradle Mountain's Round 12 team includes seven defenders. <p style='line-height: 12pt;] <p style='line-height: 12pt;]

Foul Bay are pleased to be able to finally welcome the Pav back into the forward line this week. Probably the strongest line-up we have fielded this year. This no doubt means we will lose.
