So this week started off with the home team eeeking out a draw over the favored Mexican squad. Mexican defender, Marquez and the South African with the greatest name ever, Tshabalala top scored with a goal each.

Wait, what. No, thats not right. Round 12 started off with the upset of the round! North Melbourne smashed the Blues around the park for 4 solid quarters. Well, I say that the Roos did, but in reality it was just the one Roo- Lindsay Thomas. 7.5 and 217 points for the boy. a score that will see his salary go up $200k over three weeks. SDT got the next highest score with 152. The Blues big 3 midfielders in Judd, Gibbs and Murphy brought about the next 3 scores. Waite continues his return to form with a solid 94. Meanwhile Bastinac delivered nicely with an 88.

The only game on Saturday saw Hawthorn defeat a pretty helpless Adelaide. Cyril continued his return to form with a delicious 167 BOG performance. And might just break even with the price everyone picked him up for so many weeks ago. A lesson to not sell low peoples! Heck, even Tippett got a 115 and is looking to be tracking in the right direction finally. Hodge scored a solid 156, while Douglas notched up his 6th ton in 7 weeks, Would have been a great buy back then! On the other side of the board, S. Thompson put in a poor 33 while the porpis scored a 35. Might be some bargains in this adelaide squad next year!.

Now, speaking of helpless teams, Saturday night saw the Cats smash the helpless bombers by 70 points. Bartel top scored with a 160 while Kelly put in an outstanding 151. Podsiadly is gunna be fine all year I reckon, dominating with another 5 goal haul as the only tall in the line up (and 131 points). Alwyn Davey top scored for the bombers with a solid 110 while Chappy and Ablett "dissapointed" with 106 and 97. Abletts 97 was more disappointing because it came from 34 touches.

The other game on Saturday night saw the Swans walk it in over the Power, keeping them to 2 points in the final quarter. Malceski top scored with 136 points. Hamish Hartlett put in an impressive 124 points while Goodes is looking fairly nice with a 118. OKeefe finally looks to be coming right with a ton (101). Kennelly and Hitchcock are back but let us down with a 42 and 48 respectively. While Rohan disappointed many this week with a 31. I reckon he would have been covering for just about everyone who bought into him.

So, Sunday rolled round and young Jacky Riewoldt saw Thomass 7.5 and raised him 3.... um... 3.-2 :) But still managed to score the same 217. Priddis top scored for the Eagles with 142. Waters and Nason continue their form as excellent pick ups with 105 and 94 respectively, while Hurn is hurting his coaches with a 79. Farmer put in a sold 70, while Naitanui looks like he could have used a rest- so hopefully will come out firing after the break.

The bulldogs came out against the Lions and showed what they can do if the turn up in the first quarter instead of the 4th. Cooney top scored with 137, while Giansiracusa scored a solid 132. Barry continued to punish us impatient coaches with a 6.1, 129 point performance. Murhpy had a welcome come back with a 103 while S. Black top scored for the Lions with 101. The big news from this game though was the potential 4-6 week injury to Brown. Yep, Vossy *finally* admitted that not all is right in the state of Brownmark. Browns partner in crime, Fevlova managed to pull in a pathetic 30 points. (Though I spose when beaten by that much, its fair enough).

St. Kilda lead the Dockers the whole way over in Perth. Goddard top scored with 142 while Dal Santo and Sandilands both did well with 138 and 132. Barlow did nicely with 110 while big Kep Bradles came back with a fantastic 109. Go son!!. Montagna disappointed with a 70, and might be looking at a week if he challenges his report.

Australia got dominated by the Germans who had big scores by just about all of their players. Particularly the guy who got Cahill red-carded. Bastage.

And the final game for the round was Melbourne V Collingwood. 76 point each for the draw. Considering Collingwoods 22 behinds, it was probably them giving back a bit for screwing the Dees out of the points back at the start of the year. Swan dominated with a 173, and was followed by Moloney, 138 and Jamar, 131. Lockyer has made a welcome return with a 125, while Dick filled in well for Diddles with a 124. Diddles was a late withdrawal through injury, though I havent heard the nature of it yet. Any ideas? Also, Im gunna do the gag here so that no-one need repeat it. Diddles was a late withdrawal and was replaced with Dick. Yes, I was 12 too once. Meanwhile, Gysberts pulled a classic rookie manouvuer, with a 23 in his third week. bastage.

The TS leagues are in 24th, 43rd, 44th, 48th and 128th while the TS Pine warmers are up to 17. Youre putting the rest of us to shame!

The highest scorers for the round saw two people breaking the 2800 mark. In fact, both hilariously scored 2808. So I get the feeling that someone might be up for two cars at the end of the season! :) That said, its looking like the Sideways cup has again had its benchmark raised, with TeriakiAnarkiSaki scoring a mighty 2689! Well done mate!

Tipping was a tough week- but thats unsurprising. Not many would have picked the Roos, and who tips draws?

As always, the iScent comp will be announced tomorrow.

So howd you all go this weekend? Planning on staying up to see us take on Ghana?
