Well, if you didnt get hit by a bullet last week, I reckon you would have been hit this week- once again, this time with Collingwood already making life tough for us, weve seen a good number of premiums getting hit- none worse that Bartel who copped himself an early game concussion. I feel for everyone who went Mundy/Selwood -> Bartel!

    Bulldogs vs Adelaide
    Result: Bulldogs by 30, 14.16.100 to 10.10.70

The crows started the game very well, going into the first break with a 4 goal lead, but after that it was all Doggies, kicking 12 goals to 4 in the last three quarters. Leading the way for the Dogs was Robert Murphy, his 26 touches getting him a very nice 139SC. Andy Otten top scored for the Crows with a 131SC off 22 touches- I bet theres many a coach who is wishing they hadnt pulled his plug quite so quickly, I know I am! Griffin put in a solid game with 7 clearances and 2 goals for a 129SC while Higgins continues to rub it in the faces of his former coaches with a 26 touch 126SC. Rounding out the top5 was Graham Johncock, whos 20 touches at a 90% DE saw him score a 117SC. Dahlhaus did well, approaching his bubble with a 69SC while Schofield showed a bit with a 31SC. Gilbee however continued his downward spiral, scoring a 62, while captain choice, Matthew Boy could only manage a 91 off 22 touches. Knights had a shocking performance, touching the ball just 4 times for a 20SC. Meanwhile, Cooneys first game back saw him play as the sub, and kept him restricted to just 25SC.

    Heroes: Murphy, Otten, Griffen
    Villains: Knights, Cooney, Boyd

    Hawthorn vs Gold Coast
    Result: Hawthorn by 71, 19.15.129 to 8.10.58

We headed down to Tassie to see the Hawks take on the Suns, thankfully the volcano didnt cause the potential disaster that many were predicting! It was a good game early, with the Gold Coast kicking the first two goals of the game, in fact the we pretty competitive up until the main break, going into it 17 points down. After that though, the Hawks put down the pedal and put on 13 goals to 4 to run it out in a canter. Leading the game was Shane Savage, a huge performance by this rookie- in a time where a number of coaches would have been digging deep to cover Swan/Pendles- saw him score a massive 165SC of 33 touches. Second place was shared for 144SC by Mitchell, and his 38 touches, and the perma-captain-reborn, Gary Ablett who collected 34 touches as the only Sun to crack the ton. Luke Hodge and Suckling both made a 115SC off 30 and 29 touches respectively. On the rookie front, outside of Savage, it was all Issac Smith, getting a recall this week as many coaches were struggling for a full 22 and smashing out an awesome 107 with 21 touches and 2 goals. Bailey did well in the ruck with a solid 70 while Puopolo managed a 68. Not too much to like on the Suns side, but Lynch bouncing back from two poor games to respond with a 76 will put a smile on his coaches faces- just about hitting his BE! Many a coach will be smarting a little, throwing the big C on Franklin or Rioli, with both players scoring a sub-90 score.

    Heroes: Savage, Mitchell, Ablett
    Villains: Prestia, Harris, Franklin

    Essendon vs North Melbourne
    Result: North by 21, 17.9.111 to 12.18.90

It was a hugely heated match, that I reckon will have the MRP watching with a fine toothed comb, North held the lead for the majority of the match with inaccurate kicking proving a real problem for the Bombers as the went into the first quarter break with 1.8. A big run in the last saw the Bombers take the lead with 12 minutes to go, only for the Kangeroos to dig deep and put the game away, kicking the last 4 goals. Andrew Swallow again was very good for the Roos, quietly racking up 27 touches, 9 tackles and a big 141SC- love how he goes about it!. Bomber, Zaharakis scored a 127SC off 29 touches while Harvey and Rawlings both managed a 122SC. Rounding out the top5 was Drew Petrie who kicked 3 goals on his way to a 114SC. Cam Pedersen led the way for the rookies with a massive 112SC up forward was simply too much for Hibberd to handle as he kicked 3 of his own. Hibberd however, did a it of damage himself, with 22 touches and his first AFL goal for an 83SC. Atley did well with a 73 however Heppell will have a few coaches worried, only 16 touches and a 60SC will cause some doubt as to his keeper-a-bility!

    Heroes: Swallow, Zaharakis, Rawlings
    Villains: Heppell, Hardingham, Hocking

    Brisbane vs Richmond
    Result: Richmond by 31, 18.17.125 to 14.10.94

We saw Richmond fly up north to take on the Lions and it was the Lions who got the jump early, finishing the first quarter with a 9 point lead. This was erroded over the second quarter with the Tigers up y 3 at the main break, before running away with it in the next two quarters. Dustin Martin was inspirational, picking up 22 touches and kicking 5 for a massive 155SC, but there were plenty of big scores for the game, Cotchin with a 137SC off 30, Leuenberger with a 135SC with 34 hitouts, Redden with a 134SC off 25 touches and Houli with a 133 off 24 touches. Seems a crime to see Rockliff miss the top5 with his 120 odd, but hey- them the breaks! With so many big scores, its always going to cause issues with everyone else, but it was the injured Clark that will feel it the most, scoring a 43 before doing an ankle. Should only be a week or so though. Conca did very well with an 82SC while Bewick- who a few coaches were forced to play will put a slight smile on their faces, almost doubling his average with a 68SC. Meanwhile, as a discussion point, big JB is fast approaching $300k, anyone out there thinking of jumping onto him as an F8, or even F9?

    Heroes: Martin, Leuenberger, Cotchin
    Villains: McGrath, Clark, Drummond

    St. Kilda vs Geelong
    Result: Geelong by 28, 15.10.100 to 11.6.72

Personally, I think the scoreboard here doesnt tell the full story, while every indicator on it points to the Cats dominating, around the ground, I thought the Saints had the better of it- The cats defence however was rock solid, with Taylors job on Roo a standout for mine. Absolutely destroyed St. Nick and has a lot of coaches scratching their heads, thinking about trading him out for his bye next week! Despite winning, Geelong didnt have a single player in the top5 this game, with Sam Fisher leading the way with a 139 off 27 touches. McEvoy continued his awesome form with a 135 off 37 hitouts- surely one of the Saints better stories this year! NickyD bounced back from last weeks effort to score himself a 134SC while Clint Jones scored a 123SC off 30 disposals. Rounding out the top5 was Brett ":spud:" Peake, who shook off his potato tag to score a very nice 110SC off 24 touches and 2 goals. Geelongs highest scorer for the game was Matty Stokes, whos 25 touches and 2 goals got him a 109SC. Jack Stevens did well for himself, with an 83SC while Vardy did a decent job, scoring a 68SC off 10 hitouts and 8 disposals. The biggest and saddest story for the game however was Jimmy Bartel, I have a lot of love for Jimmy, so it was sad to see him go off early with a concussion- not even a hint of that slight guilty pleasure that kicks in when a premium you dont have goes down- just hope that hes back next week! For the Monty owners, his low score is because he was subbed off throughout the game- hopefully they didnt bring him back too soon, but regardless, the scheduled week off will be a godsend.

    Heroes: Fisher, McEvoy, Dal Santo
    Villains: Riewoldt, Montagna, Bartel

    Melbourne vs Fremantle
    Result: Melbourne by 89, 22.17.149 to 8.12.60

This we just an old school smashing, Melbourne dominated the Dockers early, and just didnt let up kicking 6.5 in the first and 8.5 in the last. Leading the charge for the Dees was captain, Brad Green whos 5 goals helped him to a 137SC. Joining him up there was one of the rookies of the year, picking up 21 touches and kicking 3 of his own. Jack Watts did well, scoring a 128SC off 24 touches and 3 goals. Over on the Dockers side, Nathan Fyfe was one of two dockers to ton up scoring a 108, though it was his 3rd week in a row that he went down the race to get his shoulder looked at! Rounding out the top5 was rookie Jeremy Howe, who broke his bubble with a massive 107SC! A huge cashcow to those who jumped on him. DPP rookie, Dan Nicholson did very well, with 21 touches and a 93SC while Max Gawn won 22 hitouts on his way to an 80SC and Strauss broke his ubble with a solid 67. Mzungu did well for the Dockers, he was quiet early, but managed to finish the game with a 92SC. Now, to round up the game, fantasy favorite, Michael Barlow played his first game for the year, and despite a few clangers, did very well- 25 touches for a 98DT- which translated to a 69SC.

    Heroes: Green, Martin, Watts
    Villains: Broughton, Lower, Hill

    Carlton vs Sydney
    Result: Carlton by 34, 15.10.100 to 10.6.66

KROOOoooOOoOOOOzze. A huge game by Kreuzer in just his second game back shows just how scary it is that this Blues outfit now has him playing. 24 touches, 2 goals and 13 hitouts for 150SC saw Carlton lead for the entire match against Sydney. In fact, it was a #1 draft pick trifecta this week with Murphy picking up 29 touches for a 138SC and Gibbs collecting 30 touches for a 124SC. Walker continued his good form with a 19 touch, 2 goal, 114SC performance and rounding out the top5 was Mitch Robinson, with 22 touches for a 106SC. Leading for the Swans was both JP Kennedy and Goodes, who both managed a 104. Tuohy broke his bubble this game with a 40, while Johnson continued his great form with an 81SC off 20 touches. Seaby struggled after last weeks performance, or perhaps he was just back to that form that we expect? too harsh?

    Heroes: Kreuzer, Murphy, Gibbs
    Villains: Seaby, Malceski, Mumford

    West Coast vs Port Adelaide
Result: West Coast by 22, 15.20.110 to 13.10.88

Well, this game was a it of a wash, but the final result really doesnt show it with West Coast kicking 15.20- 20!! Top scoring for the game was Shannon Hurn, 25 touches an his awesome SC|DT ratio saw him score a 122SC. Rosa did very well, also collected 25 touches for a 113SC. Top scoring for the Power was Daiel Pearce, 30 touches for a 111SC and Alipate Carlile, whos 19 touches made for a 110SC. Rounding out the top5 was both LeCras with 4 goals, and Priddis with 28 touches, both for a 106SC. Jacobs shattered a few coaches hearts as he was named the sub and came on late for a 12SC, while Darling shattered em for being subbed off for a 53SC.

    Heroes: Hurn, Rosa, Pearce
    Villains: Jacobs, Darling

So, there we go- Im pretty happy with my score, managed a 2371 to take out all 5 leagues, thankfully I didnt have to face StKildaThunda this week, he scored a fairly massive 2420! Anyone do better?

As a final thought, what do we think of Buddy? Gone for 1 yeah? Hows the forward line next week? Worried with Roo out? need something unlikely to happen to avoid the :donut: - like a Tapscott or Richardson getting named? Looking into Didak to help out?

And remember- if you got smashed, at least youre not <A href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UmO0oGOf6Ps">this guy[/url]
