So, weve finally reached the end of another long season. Injuries have taken their toll- but the final results are in!

Now, it feels a little redundant to be reviewing the games played this week- cause hey, its not gunna help us moving forwards anymore. Now, had I planned ahead better, Id have done a year in review- but hey, since when do I plan ahead.

What I do have to announce to everyone though is the boat load of prizes that weve got to give out. Theres the <a href="http://sideways.com.au/">Sideways cup[/url] to give out. The <a href="http://footysystembet.com.au/">FootySystemBet Tipping[/url] prizes to announce. Of course, weve got the weekly <a href="http://iscent.com.au/">iScent prize to give out[/url]. And finally, the <a href="http://textoutsms.com.au/">TextOutSMS TS leagues[/url] in which the grand final winner will be taking home 1000 free online SMSs (400 for the TS20 league) thanks to the good folk at TextOutSMS, while there are cash prizes to the overall point scorers in all those leagues. $600 to first place and $100 to second in the TS50 leagues and $280 to first place in the TS20 league. Anyways, all of that will be revealed through the week!

Now comes the part of the post where I reveal exactly how badly I did in this competition. I reckon based on my final score, Ill be finishing the season in an abismal 45000 place. Ouch! But there were a bunch of bad choices that went through the year- Mattner, LeCras, Gram, Dangerfield, Hall, Shuey and Tippett were all bad selections- mad worse by the fact that I traded a few of them out at the wrong time. Next there was a couple of bad trades, or non-trades along the way. Holding Hille and his "2 week" injury while coping zero after zero was a freaking shocker, and the less I say about Pods and Rockliff the better!! Least I didnt have the darkness though... On the other side of the coin though, I reckon Ill have broken through in DreamTeam to a top 4000 finish, which is a damned improvement on my SuperCoach position.

So now that Ive done it, I think its time for you guys to come clean. Where did you come? What were your best trades? worst selections at the start of the year? Best moves? Greatest moments? all of it!

Now, I know there is no real reason to keep coming back here now that the season has finished, however, in the short term, well still be hear talking crap about the finals- Im sure Lucas will need to vent at some stage in the future Theres also the Soccer to anyone involved in that competition. I hear that there is the NFL starting up soon, so if there are any devotees out there who want to kick something like that off, let me know! I know I dont have any knowledge on the topic- but I do love fantasy sports and am a pretty quick study. One thing that will be coming up shortly is on the tennis. One of our readers is a part of Tennis Australia, and have expressed an interest in getting the community on board to discuss the viability of a fantasy tennis competition- and hey, you guys are some of the best minds in the nation when it comes to fantasy sports so it would be great to hear some opinions. The discussion will start on that sometime throughout the finals, so keep checking in.

And finally, there is 2011. A time where all mistake of the year got by will have been mused over and we all get to start with a fresh slate. But there is a lot to go under the bridge before we get there. Trades, drafts, pre-season training reports, the NAB, rules changes, the Gold Coast- a whole swag to consider. Not to mention the myriad of improvements planned for this site- One of which will involve starting fresh with user logins as we ditch the anonymous commenting that has gone on this year (So youll want to get in early when that goes down! - Im sure that well come up with some far solutions though to make sure people dont lose the accounts theyve been posting under this year.)

So yeah, its been one heck of a year! Ive had a lot of fun and I like to think you guys have as well. I gotta send a big thank you to all the contributors to the site. The writters have been outstanding all year long! All of you guys need to pat yourselves on the back- Youve provided some excellent content that Ive found a pleasure to read. Finally, to all you commenters out there. You guys make this place the fun, friendly and enjoyable place that it is to hang online and talk crap about this game that we all love. Sure, there was some hiccups along the way- but on a whole, you guys have been awesome and Im filled with such pride to have such a great group of people visiting on a daily basis.

But enough of the soppy stuff, as a great man once had as his sig- There is no offseason. Welcome to the Preseason.
