I dont have Swan but surely pendles will dominate Tigers, couldnt imagine what swan will do to them. Also Buddy wouldnt be a bad option against West Coast
Yeah with the Doggies and the Saints having a bye, coupled with the Pies playing a Richmond side that got smashT in the wet by a Hawthorn side (which may or may not even be a decent team), a pies player is looking like a good option. I'm really hoping MM doesn't sub one of his big guns off though, that's the only danger. Cox against the Hawks might not be half bad either. Usually dominates our rucks and takes a few nice grabs when resting forward to exploit our height deficiency down back. Whether the Eagles get enough of the ball in their forward50 though could be an issue if the Hawks midfielders get on top.
Cox has an average of 122 at Aurora Stadium... that's not bad. Swan's MCG average is only 111. However i'm pretty sure that 122 avg comes from just 2 very different games: an 80 in 2007 and 163 in 2009.
Swan smashed Richmond last year to the tune of 190s I think. I think Jasmine will say keep the faith.
Could be raining Friday night. Will tighten the game and bring efficiency down. It's making me think twice; Rioli back with a vengeance or Franklin. They both average about 120 at Aurora. Are there any stats on rain effected games?
Spud could be on the money, Cox is dominating at the moment. No real hawk ruckmen to challenge him could see a big score. Then again, buddy, rioli & mitchell (if he plays) will all score large. No doubt deledio will go to swan or pendlebury (like Goddard a couple of weeks ago), I reckon pendlebury as teams don't try and tag swan, like when ablett was at the cats. Decisions, decisions, if only I had swan...set and forget!
Buddy does do well at Aurora, Eagle_Eyed, but similarly Glass usually does a good job on him, which is probably a more weighing factor than the ground. Rioli would be a good smokey, but I'd choose Cox most likely before choosing Rioli. All that said, Swan if you have him.
