    Fulham v Man United

Jones and Young both got injured. Awaiting news now on Jones x-ray on his jaw. Young is out for 2-3 weeks. Nani, Welbeck, Giggs, Rooney and Berbatov all scoring. Four goals in three games now for Rooney with Wigan and Blackburn to follow at Old Trafford. Rio missed out with injury while De Gea was rested. Fulham at Chelsea and Norwich next 0-5.

    Man City v Stoke

Richards limped off after 59mins and has 4-5 days to try and recover for WBA (a) before heading to Sunderland and then a cracker at home against Liverpool. Lescott was recalled. Adam Johnson started and scored while Aguero scored twice. Etherington and Pennant were both benched as Shotton kept his place. With Villa and Wigan at home followed by Blackburn (a) Id expect Etherington to come back in. 3-0<!--more-->

    Wigan v Liverpool

Al-Habsi saved Adams penalty which was awarded after Caldwell handled from Suarezs shot. Maxi  Rodriguez and Kuyt both started. There were chances for both teams with Moses again catching the eye. Wigan have impressed recently with five points from 9 but they face another difficult one at Old Trafford followed by Stoke (a) and Sunderland. Liverpool have Blackburn and Newcastle at home followed by a trip to Man City. Suarez will remain available for these games pending a possible (probable) appeal against his eight match ban. 0-0.

    Newcastle v WBA

A cracking result for WBA despite Ba claiming another two goals for himself to make it 13 for the season. Long and Odemwingie (whos really coming into form now) both started again. Odemwingie scored along with McAuley and Scharner while Brunt impressed. Santon started ahead of R Taylor but was replaced by him at half-time.

Newcastle havent won in six and are yet to win at Sportsthingy Arena. Their next game there will be against Man United before that though they are at Bolton and Liverpool. West Brom face Man City, Everton and Spurs (a). 2-3.

    Everton v Swansea

Leon Osman is the prolific scorer that the Toffeemen were looking for... hes now scored two in two games to help earn four points and they now sit just one point off ninth place. Rodwell again missed out, being unable to even make the bench. Drenthe started and was Evertons biggest threat and his corner set-up Osmans goal. Cahill was benched. Coleman came off injured. Gower came off early. Everton now play Sunderland (a), WBA (a) and Bolton. While Swansea have two home games against QPR and Spurs followed by Villa (a). 1-0

    Villa v Arsenal

RVP played and... ... ... well you know the rest. A penalty this time got him on the scoresheet. Albrighton scored again and might well be establishing if not quite cementing his place in the Villa team. Substitute Benayoun scored the winner from RVPs corner. Collins dropped out while Hutton got himself sent off. Arsenal deserve massive credit for the way theyve came back from their early season problems and they continue to pick up the points despite shocking injury problems. Their full-backs remain out until mid-late Jan. The fixture list at the moment is kind though -Wolves, QPR and Fulham (a). Villa have stoke (a), Chelsea (a) and Swansea. 1-2.

    QPR v Sunderland

Paddy Kenny came back into the team but then proceeded to let in three goals - Bendtner (who took time out from trashing cars to play some football), Sessegnon and Brown the scorers. QPRs goals came from Helguson (again) and Mackie. SWP was subbed off at half-time to be replaced by Taarabt. James Vaughan started again for Sunderland. Incredibly, Cattermole got himself booked. Im sure hes had more bookings than Ive had hot dinners and if I can be arsed I might at some point try and find out his stats.

Two wins from three for ONeill and his next games look like this: Everton, Man City and Wigan (a). QPR who are slipping down the table have Swansea (a), Arsenal (a) and Norwich.

    Blackburn v Bolton

Two local bitter rivals, two relegation candidates, two guarantees for this game. First one - The Yak would score. Second one - Steve Kean would have to endure more torrents of abuse from his own clubs supporters. He doesnt convince but hes certainly had some bad luck to contend with. Including the recent absences of Givet (heart surgery) and Scott Dann *typing through tears* with a ruptured testicle. Boltons goals came from Mark Davies and Reo-Coker. Eagles was benched. Blackburn who are now bottom face a trip to Anfield followed by a trip to Old Trafford then back to the comfy surrounds of Ewood Park against Stoke. Oh dear! Bolton have Newcastle, Wolves and Everton (a). 1-2.

    Wolves v Norwich

Norwich continue to entertain and this game threw up four goals. Holt, Morison and Hoolahan all started and contributed but it was Surman and Jackson that scored while Ebanks-Blake and Zubar scored for Wolves. Norwich now face Spurs, Fulham and QPR (a) while Wolves - who are perilously close to the relegation zone - have Arsenal (a), Bolton (a) and Chelsea. Not pretty! 2-2.
