Well there was some BIG upsets and BIG games on the weekend !!!. A lot hit by injuries but still  high scoring games . Biggest thing to come from the weekend games is that there is NO easy games in this league.....................

Fez V Eleviathans:
Fez has his team up and about and shot a 2157  which made Eles rough start even rougher !!. Eles 2081 with donuts  wasnt that bad a score but in SC no cigar is no cigar !!!. Ele like a  lot of coaches waiting for the return of Ablett and Co.

Schlock V Viddle:
The undefeated Schlock took on the Viddle in a mismatch for this stage of the season. Viddle hoping the Schlock could throw him a bone but instead only copped a face full of sand !!. Is a hard bastard is the Schlock lol. The scoreline of 2226 V 2110 showed Viddle is there about just not on this game.

JB V Supercoachsuperstar:
In the MOTR in the derbys these two heavy weights went at it and at the end of the round SCSSs 2216 was to good for JBs 2115 . Which ever the result have no doubt these two will be slaying many a coach along the as both arnt the type to taking 2nd too well !!.

Bones V Mancdave:
Bones went into this game as hot favorite as Mancdave had yet to open the account . But like all go SC plans it went titts up fairly quickly for the hapless Bones as his team went south, with a 2006 V Mancdaves 2254, just when he was odds on to win one !!!!. Not a whole lot of sympathy from the Mancdave though lol when your 0-3 youll take any win !!!.

Ned V Yani:
In the first of the Ashes games, Yani, after being the easy beat for the first few weeks,  came out with a 2200+ and had a lot of sceptics saying he couldnt back it up !!!. Well 2328 is no slouch score !!!. This has turned Yani into a TS threat and thus trades will be used to make sure the Yani pays for them early losses. Ned waiting for his cows to fatten so as to fix this minor glitch in his season !!. The land of the wet, overcast summers 1-0 up.

UA V Edbull:
Next the undefeated UA took on the hapless Edbull which was a given for the TS team but like I said before theres no easy games in this league and Edbull turned up with a defeat pineapple in hand !!!. With a 2250 V 2180 result it was a bookies dream as this result was as likley as pom being able to eat fresh meat !!!. The bath dodgers 2-0 up.

Sainter V Slarty:
In the third of the Ashes games the Sainter took on Slarty. Both with a 1-2 start to the season the young Sainter must have skipped his "Homework" and left some points behind as Slarty took full advantage of this and inflicted the third straight defeat of the TS team !!. Slarty a wiley fox cant be given a chance as Sainter found out the hard way. The Slartys 2195 to good for Sainters 2078. Unwashed 3-0 up.

Crossy V Brogie:
Just when TS needed a knight in shinning armour Crossy stepped in and took the more fancied Brogie down a notch or two !!. I tipped this but not many did but Crossys not one for fanfare just I to help the team out when needed !!. His 2233 just getting Brogies 2211 !!!. Bath dodgers 3-1.

Walesy v ATX1303:
In the last of the Ashes games Captain TS stood up and slayed the wildcard that is ATX !!. Walesy finally getting some carma when he keeps losing with high scores so decided to shoot a nut low score for him and take the win !!!. Walseys 1961 to much for the erratic ATXs 1895 !!!. The convicts ended up 3-2 down.

Ned V Sainter:
Ned needs a win like like a ranga needs a understanding step father !!!. Me thinks the Ned has saved some trades but if finals is your thing Ned then some wins better come sooner rather than later !!!. Young Sainter will be out for a win of his own and on paper starts the favorite but my gut says the cunning Ned will trade some major points in this week and fix the early season hiccup. This game in my eyes almost a coin flip.

Slarty V Brogie:
The Blue Ranga that is slarty wont have his skirt lifted by an angry Brogie this week. Brogies team going ok just that Im tipping against him and having done that the last two weeks I wont break the jinx !!. Being a Northener makes it an occupational hazard to upset the big man !!!!!. But anyway thats how we roll in Aus !!.

JB V UA:
In the Derby MOTR  I have no intension of picking a winner hear. Both these coaches are rocks and in a derby will be happy to get their teams ready for an Ashes game !!!.

Schlock V Mancdave:
Schlock an unbeaten runnaway train at this stage of the season !!. Noboby wants to come up against the evil being that is Schlock when hes on a roll as hes as hard as a cats head and as cold as charity !!!. Mancdave is shopping for a tub of vas to prepare for the weekend while Sclock doesnt consider Mancdave a threat for his unbeaten status.

Edbull V ATX:
Until last week would have picked ATX in a heartbeat but with Edbulls showing last week its gunna be a tough game. Picking ATX though as his up and down scores are due to spike this week. Meanwhile Edbull happy to dine out on his win last week.

Crossy V SCSS:
With 17 points difference last week this should be a "Ring a ding ding game" . Both teams cracking and itll be a no holds barred game !!!. Picking SCSS but none of my hard earned will be going on it !!!.

Fez V Yani:
Fez up against the "Form" side and looking to slay the enemy with a slash to a main attery. Like I told Ned last week Fez leave NOTHING to chance as the rat cunning of Yani needs to be put to rest !!!!. Fez will step up it what the Aussies do when its needed. Yani to spiral back to the ladder spot he came from.

Walesy V Bones:
Bones been dicked over more than a hooker at a rave party and Im picking things to be no different this week. Bones throws his heart and soul into SC but will see what a harsh cold biatch she can be as Walsey just casually brushes the bones to one side !!!.

Eleviathans V Viddle:
Both with a slower start than had hoped and both wanting a win more than a lung full of clean air. Im picking Ele to turn the corner and Do bad things to Viddle with the defeat pineapple !!!. Word is the lube will be sand and chille sauce ???.

<div>With these two being the two highest league points scoreres it was always going to be tighter than a long term prisoners sack !!. UA has smashed the league so far being 200 points up on anyone so hes the man you dont want to be playing anytime soon !!!. Like a heavy weight title fight these two went toe to toe for ten rounds with UA getting a points decision over Walesy 2053 V 2039 !!!. Walesy with the pineapple award so far 2nd in league points and 13th on the ladder !!!!. Wrong on so many angles but hey if you dont like pain then SC aint the gig for you !!.


ATX V Mancdave:
<div>ATX with all the smoke and mirrors has everyone scratching their heads. With a score line that looks like a heart graph of a elite athlete you just cant pick which direction hes coming from next ???. Mancdave is more predictable with a steady line of shyt . The big fella had high expectations this season and has just not been able to get going whilst the unpredictable ATX is just a complete lottery as to how hes gunna go on any given weekend.Well on this weekend he placked the crap outta Mancadve to the tune of 2109 v 1893.

<div>Crossy went to this game looking to go 2-1 up against Sainter who had yet to open the account. The big fella shot a 2004 which has to be said is an honest score for the round only to find Kid Coach shoot a 2030 and keep Crossy buried in the ladder.Crossy filthy about Hale spudding the season after his NAB Cup form. "Not Dropped" benefiting from his "Homework" but word is has some detention to serve after screwing his teaches team royally with some misinformation that seen his teacher plummet down the ladder like a skydiver with a faulty chute. Crossy realises its a grind from here but hand on hips is not preturbed by what lays ahead.

<div>Well both teams went in 1-1 and looking to consolidate the season. Bones who stacked his pantry full of hot beer to watch the games and Viddle who mathed the weekend to the enth degree. Only drama with math is theres no formula for Kermit, Red vest, General, and Late Withdraw !!. Bones ended up pissed and happy as his boys got the chockies 2053 V 2039 !!. Viddle has decided to live in the USA now as he sees the access to the shinks needed as part of playing SC !!. Bones telling Viddle that theres nothing that a couple of pints wont fix.

<div>In the 1st of the Ashes games Ned took on Slarty. Ned must have missed church this week and was punished by the good lord as he shot what Id expect his entire seasons lowest score of 1658 to go down to Slartys 1894. Was a big upset and one that rocked the SC team as this game was a given. Credit to Slarty through fore thought, good luck, vodka inspired trading and dodging of injuries he got the cigar, the points and the scalp of Ned. Ned has been kissing the rosary beads since !!. Time will tell. The Blue Ranga a happy man was quoted "Wll tht bu tetchn hm "while Ned sits in a church and ponders what might have been. 1-0 up to the unwashed.

<div>In the 2nd of the Ashes games after Ele showed a slither of kindness and coated Yanis gimpball with honey which come back to bite him big time!!!. Ele must have slipped on some of the honey and Yani took advantage of this and caught him off balance and the hunter become the hunted !!. Long story short word is they had to take a graft from an elephant to start the reconstrucion on Ele while the evil that is Yani went away well smilling. Well Schlock was right Yani is the flukiest shyt on the planet lol. He shoots 1800s when all are shooting 2200s and when everyone is shooting 2000s he steps out with a 2284 !!!!!. Would of went deep in the overall with that score. Eles wounded troops managed to bag 1918 but in THE upset of the round without a doubt. Hats off to Yani though a lot would have dropped the bundle after the start hes had but like I can vividly remember a certain croweater telling me to write Yani off at your own peril !!!. Unwashed 2-0 up.

<div>In the 3rd Ashes games Fez took on the dangerous Schlock. Both these teams undefeated and promised to be the Ashes MOTR only to see a blowout !!!. Word on the street is that Fez through sleep deprivation, an abuse of Redbull &amp; Vodka and an accute hammering on the selection table had one of THOSE weeks and couldnt get going. Lesson learnt that Schlock takes no prisoners and got pasted 1724 to Schlocks 2047. Fez vowing to hunt Schlock down like a wounded animal and revenge this loss come finals time !!!. Hot tip TS boys. Schlocks not one you want in the top 8 come finals time !!. Unwashed 3-0 up.

<div>In the 4th of the Ashes games SCSS at 1-1 and having a solid season SCSS seen Edbull as a victim as loss was no on the agenda for him. Edbull went AWOL in this game and SCSS to the win 2043 V 1753. So Star was plenty pleased with the percentage to boot. TS boys very happy aswell as got some runs on the board on what had been a disaster weekend so far for the Ashes. The Convict 3-1 down.

<div>In my preview of the 5th Ashes games I said JB has a habit of winning these games where hes rated as an underdog !!. The lad is a rock and with an Ashes win much needed by our boys JB cowboyed up and got the biz done !!. 2059 V 2004. Like the song says"When the going gets tough......". Its all good Brogie you wont be the last to underestimate JB but do so at your own peril !!!. Word is Brogie has a player with LTI now...................Something about a knee ????. Still have but might "offset" the punt if he drops this one "and Fez would like to consolidate a top 6 spot. I flipped a coin on this game and it come up heads. Ele by a nose.

Yanis been down on the ground for a while so a solid kick in the guts might just keep him there for a bit longer!!!!.................Gentleman rules are for cricket only Ned.
