    Hello folks,

I know we are still in the home and away, but thought I would jump in early, whilst we are all fairly regular on here... as attendance drops right off at the end of finals

Firstly, allow me to indulge in some thankyous

@Len for his seamless running of the drafts twice a year, every year... it is a herculean effort and doesn't go unnoticed from my side mate, thanks

To @Jen and her trusty side kick @chris88 for the FIXture and the themes, you two make a great team. You know if you both weren't married you would make a great couple :p Another great effort in keeping the weekly stuff happening

To all of you for your weekly write ups... again, many hands make light work, and I appreciate having a read of the weekly results over a hot drink in the morning. Also for all of your banter, contribution and generally keeping me on the straight and narrow, with special mention to @graeme, @TerryinBangkok @anthak and @JC

To @Fitzy and @snoz for setting the pace early in the season, and @Lenny120 for rattling home like a freight train!

I also noticed that @Tracey last week equalled the same number of wins for the Packers as last season... another team on the up!

Finally, I know he is the number one ticket holder at the Uglies, but I think @HeavyMen would have to be right up there for ORFFA patron of the year... big shout out to you mate

Looks to be shaping up to be a cracking season... with 13 teams still a chance of getting the last two spots in the top 8 and making finals (the cows play the misfits this week... so one of them will drop back to the chasing pack), it is a very tight season.

Now if there are any rules changes we need to discuss, let's throw them on the table now. There will be a minimum 8 delists before the PSD... so use the next few weeks to give your players the feedback they are craving. Are there any other rules changes we want to consider?

No worries Bandit, and thanks to you and to everyone for all their efforts. It has been great being a part of this fair league again.

As for those minimum 8 delists, oh, the maniacal rubbing together of hands in a Monty Burns-esque fashion has already begun at Nufferland. Can I delist 3 guys now?

sure go right ahead, and then watch them get called up for games after General soreness kicks in for the regular players :D

I know it is slightly off topic but I wonder how my fellow ORFFANs feel about the changes to position (MPPs) during the year? At this stage I think it is a curse but would welcome other views.

    Oh, and get stuffed @Bandit

it annoyed the crap out of me, but I resigned myself to if that is the way CD are going to play it then we have no other option really than to go with it

Agree 100% Graeme. Not the best at all even if my mob benefited from it a bit.

Agreed, it’s a total crapshoot and can see a lot of dpp’s being undone prior to next season and screwing with us all.

Lock out - Am requesting weekly lock outs to change to the first bounce of the first Saturday match. At present it’s set to the Friday night match. Even if I get up at 4am I’ve missed the Sunday teams being finalized.

Lock out moving to first game of Saturday makes a lot of sense to me. I’ll put that poll up shortly

Unfortunately the way the data is gathered means if SC changes so does our database, it would be possible to filter but an unnecessary PITA to do so.

    Agree on first game Saturday

yeah, just an old fart remembering when life and SC were simple. "Is my hot milo ready yet?"

Agree on Saturday lockout, albeit will probably be on the golf course.

We are in the hands of the gods.

Can't do much if it doesn't conform with CD.

Not in favour of doing anything if it means more work for @walesy and/or @Len.

Pretty simple really. And yes, I have a hot milo.

In case anyone was wondering what an unnecessary PITA looks like:
