    Looks like the AFL have a significant announcement at 3:30, and the twitter rumours have it as Demetriou stepping down.

    Should be interesting to see who fills his boots I reckon.

    Yeah I have been wondering about that too Lucas, also whether it is just about the broadcast rights and AD isn't stepping down at all. Time will tell though I gather

    Jim Stynes memorial. Well done AFL to get the maximum publicity for what is a worthy award. Bit sneaky but well done nonetheless.

    I was right about the AD not stepping down bit at least, but that was a 50/50 call at worst so not a big win
