I've put together the 2010 stats that are available from the SANFL on the draftees for this year. Players are listed in draft order, and stats measured are Kicks, Marks, Handballs, Frees For, Frees Against, Goals, Behinds, Hitouts and Tackles. Not as in depth as the stats measured by the AFL but should provide some insight into the new blood. Assumptions - All stats are "effective" not "ineffective" Marks are awarded one point to be conservative. Other Scores as per SC rules. Ian Callinan is an interesting player, he seems like he will be the next Pods Will have to watch him over the pre season Nick Lower has an interesting average? Reckon he will get games this season at fremantle?
Lower is a good chance to get that last spot on the Freo squad, however, if he is upgraded, I can't see him getting games early. He may be one of those mid or late season downgrade targets that we all look for. Although if Freo's pre-season injury run continues (Morabito, Hayden, Houghton), you never know.

Quote from walesy on January 26, 2011, 11:00 Magnificent post mate- I might need to turn this one into a full blown post if you don't mind.
Do as you wish with it Walesy. It's annoying that Sam Day only played one game in the SANFL in 2010. Big body(6 foot 5 in the old money, 94Kg) for 18 and still growing. Would have been good to see him mix it with the big boys a few more times to see how he stood up to the increased physicality. 87% Disposal Efficiency in the U-18 comp, also talented baseballer and basketballer so you'd think hes pretty good with his hands as well. I have all the stats in a spreadsheet if you want it, i've only posted a summary of the SC scores so far.
I don't think there is anywhere on the site where I could upload it, but if anyone wants it, give me an email address and I'll send it your way.
