Sounds like Swan has a minor hamstring, so assuming 1-3 weeks. Pendles also had ice on calf during game and he said it was maybe a corky after the game. Would assume wouldnt miss, but you never know how they pull up, looked like he could hardly walk off ground after his interview!
Lol @ Arizona all over... wouldnt be surprised re Swan. If there was any serious issues to Pendles calf he wouldnt have played out that last quarter... I remember he a slight concern following the port game where he had his calf strapped around the tan a couple of days before the bombers game... At the end of the day like what SKT said I guess you never know how they pull up!
pendles will be fine..just managing a knock he got on the side of his calf. swan gone for 2 or 3 you would think. Glad I don't have him!!!!!!!!
With the running 65+ meter goal at the end I think pendles calf will be ok. Unfortunately, as the pies play GC and Mel before the bye, there will be no rush to get Swan back in and will probably enjoy some sun.
I traded Swan >>> Pendles b4 first price change. Swan started so slowly and Pendles was on fire. Justified it to myself as a "correction" trade. So of course, immediately after that Swan goes bang and starts punching out 160's and Pendles drops away. But now, feeling much better about that trade. Especially after Captain Pendles 147 last night!!
that is not the first time peddles had problems with that calf this year, he was hobbling on it with a bandage a few weeks back
He copped a knock thats all. He'll be right. I'll hold onto swan, if he does go to arizone he'll come home strong like last year.
Dane Swan to miss two weeks http://www.collingwoodfc.com.au/newsfeatures/news/newsarticle/tabid/5586/newsid/136434/default.aspx
So he's back for the Queens Birthday game, then another week off with the bye? I hope they're telling the truth here as I'm holding on to him......plus I wouldn't mind him smashing out a 150 against Melbourne
SC-wise, works well for me that he went down. Will come back and be picked up cheaper after the bye. These days it seems dodging injured players is the way to do well! Durability has never been so important!
