evening all, to all those bastards creating teams last week for a one-off crack at the cash, why didn't you just pick this: Brown - COL - 128 Thompson - ADE - 126 Deledio - RIC - 119 Hooker - ESS - 118 Shaw - COL - 116 Murphy - WBD - 112 Grima - KAN - 105 Judd - CAR - 154 Del Santo - STK - 150 Foley - RIC - 143 Priddis - WCE - 142 Stanton - ESS - 141 Howlett - ESS - 140 Mumford - SYD - 318 (c) Goldstein - KAN - 149 Nahas - RIC - 149 Reimers - ESS - 147 Harvey - KAN - 129 Knights - ADE - 121 Krakouer - COL - 119 Betts - CAR - 114 Monfries - ESS - 110 Bench of $91,700 no-namers with $796,500 in the bank!!! (or enough for 5.87 interviews with Fevola and Nixon) Last week's TOTR dropped 1632 points from 3056 to 1424. (again, this highlights the futility in chasing last week's points) Special mentions to Deledio (4th appearance for the year) Boomer Harvey (second consecutive) and Shaw (COL) & Mumford (SYD) (second for the year) all others were first appearances... PS to my regular readers, sorry for the lateness of this week's TOTR... just got back from a special job in Pakistan. take care, The Silverback
Once again, great job Silverback. As you point out each week, the TOTR really does demonstrate the futility of chasing last weeks points. Great to see the trade of the week make the TOTR though - how many coaches on TS who didn't trade down to Luke Thompson??? And i'm also pleased too see that my risk of having $$$'s sitting on the pine with Goldstein to cover for Cox/Sandi byes paid off this week with a big score and made the TOTR too
just some further analysis of the R1-6 TOTR's so far... we're all familiar with the GnR theory but 40.2% of the players in TOTR's are mid-pricers ($200k-$399k)! break up as such: $100's - 6 players $200's - 5 $300's - 48 $400's - 54 $500's - 17 $600's - 2 so, based on that, fill your team with players valued between $300k-$499k and you should go well!
