Well, didn't some of the KPF's go off this week! But inconsistency is part of the issue with these guys as well. I am looking to upgrade a couple of forwards and am considering the following: Tex: cheap, looks in great nick, both physically and with his game. Can he keep it up? Buddy: fairly cheap, seems to have his mojo back, starting to look scary good. Will his knee (or other as yet unidentified body part) hold up? Trav: Was last week yet another false dawn? I'm thinking that it is, but maybe not..... The non KPF candidates in my price range: Zorko: bounced back nicely after virus affected score and bye rest. Has been a bit up and down, seems to score a bit like a KPF, i.e. hero or zero. Low priced, good average however. Dahlhaus: a bit more consistent than Zorko, looks to be having more mid time. More dough tho. Breust: Have spotted him at center square bounces recently. Change in role? Reasonable price, fairly consistent scoring, but seems to have dropped off in last few weeks. Will he bounce back? Bird and McGlynn: both seem to be scoring quite a bit above their recent season's norms. But playing well enough to keep T Mitch out of the team. Can they keep it up? With the funds I have available I can get a combination of two forwards from these two groups OR Robbie Gray and a rookie. Options are: If I had elephant testicles, (good cash left over for last mid upgrade): Buddy and Tex Sensible on a budget, consistent performance, (no cash left): Breust and Zorko Budget minded balance, risky outcome likely, (lots of cash in hand left): Tex and Zorko Could be a roller coaster rest of the season performance (not much cash left): Dalhaus and Tex I hope they don't have bad weeks at the same time, (no cash left): Zorko and Buddy

FWIW im bringing in Tex & Zorko this week. <p >Zorko is a Top6 forward. Cheap as chips. Tex is a bit more of a risk, but even if only used as a stepping stone should generate a bit of cash and hopefully some good scores.

Thank you for the comment. I was leaning that way myself, to be honest. I had kind of sworn off KPF's, but Tex in particular has got me reconsidering. He is looking very good at the moment and is cheap.

Well,I managed to doge the KPF bullet this week. Only brought Zorko in and held onto Wingard, which worked out nicely. Have sworn completely off of KPF's for the rest of the season. Note to self: do not even think about Roughie. :)
