Troy Taylor has walked away from football for the second time in 5 months. Richmond really know how to pick them... http://www.heraldsun.com.au/sport/afl/door-open-as-troy-taylor-walks-out-on-tigers-again/story-e6frf9jf-1226031633520 (not Relton-esque in that he is screwing the SC community as I doubt many have him, but the story is VERY close)
Story is close but Relton was held by so many supercoachers. I am still thinking Curnow could end up being a Muston/Gysberts.
Or, for a more reasonable comparison, another Mitch Robinson. Laughed so hard when I didn't fall for that one. But unfortunately for me Gysberts and Muston were both selections I made. Urrgh.
Must be something wrong at tigerland, they trade players who end up better at other clubs and they give young players an oppotunity to play AFL and Relton and Troy Taylor walk away
Yes - the Tigers were bitten badly when they traded away Zantuck, Raines, Fiora, Paterson. I wager they'll have the better of the Grigg-Collins trade as well. However, if you want to talk about their record of guys traded IN, then you have a good point.
Off Topic but Reltonesque. They managed to get rid of their biggest spud in Miller. Mind you having watched the last couple of years I think he might have been a mentor lol. Worries me when a coach says Jake King is what a club is all about ??????. Granted they now have some good players and will put in some good games but it still doesn't look like a well balanced side....Remember they haven't been in the finals since 2001. maybe the admin should be contracted on performance based salary ?. Back to the Relton story Issac Smith for me. If he gets a gig ?.
