Mohr is probably a better option than Hombsch. Both bigger lumps in GWS backline, but Mohr a little more attacking (just a little). Also Mohr with his extra years over Hombsch will probably be more durable and play more games through the early rounds. Too many saints in DEF for my liking, I don't think either Goddard or Fisher will score in 2012 like they have in previous years. Gut feel mostly, but that's my take. Suggest you can find a better and cheaper DEF option than Bower.
thanks for the feedback, those are all the main things ive been concerned about.. sort of just chucked hombsch in for the sake of it yeah from what i've heard bower will be pretty defensive anyways.. any suggestions on backline rookies? think my St.kilda bias/optimism may have gotten the better of me
Seaworld. Lake AND Bower a disaster waiting to happen. Guthrie may be a choice. One of god or fish okay, especially for the first 5-6 rounds. Broughton, Duffield popular choices. I have Homebush (thank you Jason) and will stick with him.
Re backbone rookies, you could do worse than Morris, spurr, boumann (though wait for R1 teams for boumann). Drop bower or lake and use the extra cash to upgrade birchall to someone like shaw
Yeah I've gone fish to broughton outed bower, but sticking with birchal, Shaw is probably my least favorite backman just cos he's to up and down would rather wait til mid year for him.. considering going broughton to Scotland
