    <p style='background-color: #ffffff;]

<p style='background-color: #ffffff;]What did you guys think of the leagues this year? Was it worth organising into divisions? It hasn't really helped any leagues get into the top 20, but my hope is that the divisional leagues have provided a bit better competition than some of the other leagues. I'm really interested to see how both division 1 and division 7 ended up, and whether the rankings from the start of the year played any part in results. Any thoughts are valuable, even those that say that this trial was not worth it and shouldn't be run next year.
    <p style='background-color: #ffffff;]
<p style='background-color: #ffffff;]One way to improve on leagues is to use the divisions from this year as a base, and move say 6 teams up and 6 teams down a division. I'm not sure how many dropouts we would get, as the leagues this year did get some attention from those who don't regularly post, which could create problems if this is done next year. The other option is to re-assign leagues for next year, but I think the relegation system provides a bit more competition and possibility of improvement. I'm open to feedback here, I was simply trialling the system to see how people felt about it. Also, I'm sure some other people do similar things with their leagues, so maybe they have some good ideas that we could use.
    <p style='background-color: #ffffff;]
<p style='background-color: #ffffff;]Here is how the top 20 in the TS group ended up. Congratulations to Jamie and the Ugly Ducklings for leading the group! A fantastic season - 24th is definitely an achievement. Well done also to Dale, Matthew, Fitzy and Daniel, representing TS in the top 100 coaches for the year.

Finally, thanks to all who participated in a TooSerious League this year. Congratulations to those who had success of any level in whichever league they may have been in - here's to future successes! Whether you copped a wooden spoon or won a premiership, we want you back next year, but enjoy your off-season/pre-season in the mean time!

Thanks guys. Based on the response, it appears that it may be better to go back to the old ways and have people organise their own leagues as it seems nobody seemed to really care about the new system.

I think the lettered leagues made things a bit too complicated. Using up 3 spots for them is a lot.

Divisions are fine but do we try to make the top leagues (didn't we use to have platinum league?) a bit more elite to try and get top leagues?

Other leagues I haven't seen mentioned above:

102nd - TS Champs GrpsDE - SimplyTheBruest def Bafingwood FC
120th - TS Champs GrpsCH - Blue Steele def Tent Crotchin
      123rd - TooSerious Division 2 - Dict8orship Fc def 2Ezy
394th - TS ORFFL - SimplyTheBruest def TheTassieTitans

We did, but it was always annoying to set up. You'd open registration for a couple of weeks to allow people to put their hand up, then but the end, find that people who signed up early had filled their leagues elsewhere. :D

At least with the div system, it becomes internalised. No need to chase up numbers or ranks or any of that.

Will be tough to organise from sheer volume, but definitely an idea worth discussing.
