I have gone through and compiled all the feedback and there are some consistent themes, but there are also some really conflicting views. I want to put off going to a vote for now - if we can come to some sort of consensus by the 20th, that would be ideal, but if we cant, then we can vote on any of the contentious issues.

This is probably the area that has had the most discussion, with some calling for no value at all for any fouls and some wanting just PFs scrapped, but in the end, almost everyone (that commented) was in agreement with the following values: PF -1; TF -1; FF -2; DQ 0. So I believe we can safely change them to those values without a vote. Please comment if you strongly object to that.
What does need more discussion though is the value for Ejections. 3 people have called for ejections to have no point penalty, whereas 4 people have specifically suggested keeping it the same, and a few others have made general statements that it should be reduced; be a big burden, etc etc. What do you all think?

A fair bit of discussion about this too. Consensus seems to be that a missed FT should be reduced to -1, instead of -2; however it has also been suggested that we dont have any value for missed shots, or made shots, and just have a negative value on an attempt and keep a positive value for a point scored. I really think this needs more attention, because it's a good idea in my opinion and it seems that the suggestion may have been missed or misunderstood.
If we kept our shooting values the same, this is what happens with the following scenarios:

We could also attribute -1 for a 3pt Made, so that players score 3 fpts for hitting a trey, but I think everyone is happy with 3s being worth more, to give swingmen a boost.

Some people suggested keeping these the same, some people suggested making them equal value to each other, some at 5 and some at 4, while others called for a big reduction in their value, down to 2 and 1 respectively.
Given we havent had a heap of people commenting on this just yet, I believe we need to discuss it more.

This is another one that didnt get a lot of attention, but there were a few suggestions. Basically, while some suggested to keep them the same; 1 person suggested keeping just DD and TD same, and reducing QD; and 1 other suggested getting rid of them altogether. I know, after season 1 when we changed the scoring, this was a very contentious issue, and we needed a vote to decide what to do about them, with the result almost 50-50, so I believe we need to hear from others about this before making a final decision.

There were two people that specifically commented on this and both suggested getting rid of it; although, there were more than 2 people that said for everything to be kept the same, or everything except 'such and such' that they thought needed changing. Lets discuss this more.

So, we should have our leagues sorted by about the 23rd at the latest, and it would be good to have our scoring setup sorted by about then too. At some stage, we may need to call some votes, but we'll see how we go discussing the merits of these points that are up in the air at the mo first and play it by ear.
