Just happened to stumble across TooSerious on Facebook this afternoon. Not sure if Walsey has just set it up and was planning on a big unvieling (if so oops)

I know you can link your twitter to facebook status, were you planning on doing that at all? I would think you'd be able to do it Twitter to Facebook?? Be handy for all those that arent Twits but wouldnt mind keeping updated on all things TooSerious...

Here's the link if anyone is interested...

    Nice find StK.

The herald sun tac supercoach page provides links to the articles Les writes up on their FB page too which is good exposure.

The social networks these days seem to be the way to go for exposure purposes, especially the younger generation. For the older folks, nothing beats a streak across the G during Grand Final day with a T on one cheek and a S on the other ;)

    "Like" *thumbsup*

It's been there for a few years hahaha

But yeah the links from FB provide handy additional server hits and keep the exposure up on the site.

On another matter, I'm pretty impressed by how Walesy's done the links to YSCC though. That's how to get the community working together, rather than cutting each other's throats.

Yea thats where i saw they had "tagged" tooserious and i found the page... Yea the social media dominantly is the way off the future, not just for here but for supporter forums. Easiest way of updating people of the goings on... I know on True Sainters we use our facebook & twitter pages on daily basis to keep people updated on competitions and everything. Keeps you ahead of the competition :p

But hey if theres anyone willing to streak with TS on their backside we arent going to stop them....

    Here's the link:

    http://www.facebook.com/pages/TooSerious/144433695612728?v=wall#!/pages/TooSerious/144433695612728?v=info

Hasn't been very active. Perhaps we can change that.
The fact that TS is one word does not bring it up when you search 'Too Serious' on FB and perhaps this contributes to the low level of activity.

A FB logo and link on the TS home page might also help.

Yea i must admit i had searched for it previously but never found it. Pretty sure that i even tried one word... Well i guess that we have now "outed" the page Walsey may have to get round to updating it and stuff now!!!!

Its already upto 52 fans, when i "liked" it was only like 23...

Terry you have to put the url tags around it for the links to work.. The link is in the OP though....

Tks for the heads up on links SKT.

I was just pondering. Walesy has set up TS rather nicely, learning from each year's experience and making tweaks and adjustments where necessary. However, unless you are the Chinese government, FB has no Ben-dilutors or moderators. Could be interesting.

Yea good point Terry... You can ban people, but they can re-join the page but they have no posting powers.. I guess by moving into the social media you know before hand the consequences that could happen.. But i think you'll find alot of people may hold back a little when they are forced to use their real name.
You can have multiple admins on facebook to delete posts, just as you would on here....

haha maybe there was a reason Walsey hadnt advertised it :)

I challenge anyone to put consistent defamatory cr.ap on the FB site and not get flamed.

The problem with that, Lucas, is you'll get the occasional person who enjoys controversy and being the centre of attention so that wouldn't be a deterrent.

Yes indeedy. Hitler was in league with Mussolini and most of the Italian troops were deployed in North Africa, proving to be the achilles heel for Rommel. History rates H & M as fascists, but was Rommel?

So no criticism of C.llingwood allowed on FB.

Ah yes, facebook. The forgotten prong in the Forum/Twitter/Facebook triple threat. One of these days I'll figure it out a little better, but at the moment it's sitting behind a long line of other things that are eating my time at the moment!

Quality job with the stalking though. :)
