The official TooSerious Platinum league. So good that not even I qualify. This is a league for the best of the best. Unlike the other leagues we run in this place, it will be based on ranking - either last year or the year before (or even better- BOTH!) Now, I plan to be fairly choosy with this league, so I don't plan on filling it fast (unless of course we have an influx of high ranked entrants of course.) I'm thinking top 200 finish in either of the last 2 years would be an instant in, while a top 1000 finish in both of the year would do the same thing. So if you've got what it takes- post in here and we'll work it out! That said, if you're around the mark, feel free to post your rank and you'll make the waiting list if we don't fill up on the initial criteria. Now, this is all new to us as we're just not a website that bases itself on being elitist- but honestly, I'd love to see how a league like this can work!
I just joined a TS general league as my 5th and final, but if my 1400th finish last year is good enough I would be in on this instead. Not sure how you can access your previous year finish.

Walesy, there were tons of people here last year that made top 1000. I dont think you will be able to make it an auto in if someone made top 1000 last 2 years. as long as people know this is going, you should be able to get a team full of people from top300, thats just a general vibe i get based on what people were saying about how they went last year. And I reckon you should be in the league Walesy! cant have the best TS league without you. Same goes for Lucas and AJ too.
Hi Walesy, great idea but I am also not sure how to access past year's results and I did not keep a record so I am relying on my memory. Perhaps that means I don't deserve to be in this league? Or maybe that I consider anything but finishing #1 a failure? 2010 - can't remember whether I finished just outside the top 300 or just outside the top 500. 2009 - fairly sure I finished 152nd, including winning Round 3.
Ant, it's essentially looking for consistancy over the flash-in-the-pan effort. If you can hit top1000 two years running, for mine, you know your stuff. As far as proving your past results- easiest way to do it is if you've been a part of a BigFooty league in the past- otherwise it's just gunna have to be the honour system.

Not right away mate. Give it some time, then if we don't fill up based on the initial criteria, then we'll come back through the list and grab the best available (provided you're still interested of course!). There's still 6 weeks to go, so there's no rush to get it filled just yet!
Don't remember what the exact rankings were, but I most definitely finished in the top 1000 for the past 2 years. Count me in if you've got space. Been following the TS contributors over the past 2 years, so would not miss opportunity to challenge the "gurus". =)
