Just a quick update on the 10 votes for the TooSerious Rising Star.   This week, no surprises as Tom Lynch from the Gold Coast takes his place among the nominees.

Not a surprise given this wrap up from the days before he was drafted:

Tom Lynch, a raw 196cm forward from Sorrento who played TAC Cup for Dandenong Stingrays, shines on Gold Coast recruiter Scott Claytons radar.  Stingrays coach Graeme Yeats said the similarities between Riewoldt and Lynch were remarkable.  "If you put Tom Lynch next to Nick Riewoldt and you didnt know who they were, youd say, Gee whiz, theyre similar," Yeats said.

No wonder he was on our radars.   And lets hope he can keep showing his undoubted promise up the front for GC in the next few weeks and become a handy little upgrade cow.  Moo!

Personally Id be really happy if Zac Smith takes the lead in this.   His performance carrying not just the Gold Coast but the Supercoach ruck in the past week has been epic.
